I think that a newsletter should of course have news associated with SFI, TripleClicks or PriceBenders. As it is newsworthy, like letting your team know that Triple Clicks now features X amount of products with X amount of ECA's from X amount of countries. This is useful information to help in the "selling process"
I find people are impressed and actually are interested in knowing more when I say that TripleClicks offers over 100,000 products from over 150 countries.

It depends on which type of affiliates you have, active or inactive.

If most of affiliates from your team are active then you can focus on increment of new affiliates. If number of active members in your team grows then your income will be grow.

For inactive member of your team you can focus on motivation. Approx 4000 to 5000 affiliates join SFI daily but only 1-5 % of them are active. Rest of them are inactive due to lack of motivation and to the fancy of get rich overnight.

Everybody who have been in SFI long enough would say focus on

- Duplication

- Compensation Plans

- ECA Program

- Co-Sponsor Affiliate

- IAHBE

Short to the point,
You should really focus in what bring them benefits and what make them happy and success in their SFI business.

That being said, if you want to start a newsletter for your affiliates, focus on the things that SFI does not cover. For instance...you could start a weekly newsletter and one week focus on safelist marketing. The next week you could cover organization or some other activity to help your
