This is a really good question. It really depends on:

1. Who your audience is.
2. What your are communicating.
3. Why you are communicating it.
4. Median you are using to communicate with.

IE.

A. If your audience is your entire genealogy and you are communicating your newsletter to provide value using the genealogy mailer, then weekly or monthly is more than appropriate. Weekly vs monthly depends on the level of value of the content provided. You

We tend to overwhelm new affiliates or team members with information. We do not know the mentality, educational background and attitude of our Affiliates. The question that is being asked is based on the concepts of "too much" and "unnecessary".
First is too much. Too much here would mean that we are overwhelming our Affiliates or team members with information. SFI has provided us with the tools to kick start our business. Our role is to provide the platform to ensure a smooth

What would be too much and/or unnecessary communication with your team?

Unnecessary communications would be cross-solicitations. I don't like feeling like I am just here to make someone else money and I don't want my team to think that is the only reason I am interested in them being successful.

Too much communication would be sending daily emails, unless they request it for motivation. Especially emails that don't have any valuable information.

I send my team

I'm not sure you can put a number on this. People will have differing opinions and communication needs. What works for 1 affiliate may not work for others. In general, I try to keep my communications to no more than 1 per week.

Your messages tends to get lost if you're sending 3 or 4 per week. People will stop reading them altogether or may choose to opt out. Very rarely will you have someone tell you to send them more email, but you could easily have them tell you that you're sending

Already there is an information overload at SFI. If I start communicating for reasons not that important for the promotion of SFI or my team, it would be unwelcome.

To my mind, all the communication that I send to my team should be absolutely to the point, whenever there happens to be an essential point to be mentioned in order to promote my team's (indirectly, my) interest as well as the interest of promoting SFI for everyone's benefit.

Weekly mails for the entire team may

I believe a weekly email communication to your time is generally enough. The rest of your communication should be prompted by individual team members.

If your team member asks a question or for advice, you should communicate as much as it takes to help them. In this case, I don't believe there should be any limit to the amount of communication.

I disagree with some of answers previously submitted which states not to offer any personal information to your team. All your team

Have you ever considered how many messages you are sending out? It may be time to consider that while technology has made us more efficient perhaps it has also made us less effective. This causes detrimental effects. When you over communicate with your downline, you will find that your marketing messages is being lost. I.E. They may not even considering reading it after a while especially when they receive your messages too rapidly because, your downline will start to encounter confusion and worst

Before going further to the things unnecessary in communication, I think it's necessary to give an opinion on the members' right. I believe that every one of us has different opinion on this matter. Maybe some of us will say that we need to keep communicating with our team regularly. But how regularly should we communicate with them? Maybe some will say that we need to communicate daily. Some will say, it's not that necessary to communicate daily. Maybe it's fine to contact them weekly.

Well,

It is good to communicate with the team. But excessive communication can backfire.

Excessive & unnecessary communications are those that do not bring any benefit, too much repetitive communications.

It may not be necessary to communicate every day, the frequency recommended by the scoreboard, about 3 communications per week (3 VersaPoints for stream post + 30 VersaPoints for group message) is supposed to be quite sufficient. Repetitive communications that have the same

It does not matter the amount of information they convey to your team is important to the quality.
If you pass the information about what you've done and how they can do the same in order to be successful and it is written specifically and not too long, such information can be easily sent 2-3 times a week no one offends.

However, I am strongly opposed to sending daily messages with tips. I think it is better collect the most interesting and include them in the weekly newsletter.
