Firstly, don't ever give up on them. Continue sending them a weekly message, but start rephrasing your messages slightly.

I recommend you do the following:
1. Share your achievements and success in these mails. This is not being arrogant or boastful, but rather to show these prospects what can be achieved.
2. Put the ball in their court. For instance, in stead of giving too much information on what actions to take to achieve Versa Points, rather tell them how much Versa Points they can achieve, and if they want to know how, they must log in to the SFI Affiliate Centre and send you a message asking you how. Rather then in your email explain to them how to send you a message through Team Mail (This isn't always that clear when you just start out).
3. Tell them about some of your other affiliates and what they have achieved. Once again, don't give too much information in the email, but rather make them log in to the system and send you a message for guidance.

You should never come across as desperate for their business.

Give them the opportunity to connect with you, but make it clear that you will only spend time and effort on them when they show that they want to work with you. If they don't take the initiative, your time will be better spent finding new affiliates.

I believe a weekly email communication to your time is generally enough. The rest of your communication should be prompted by individual team members.

If your team member asks a question or for advice, you should communicate as much as it takes to help them. In this case, I don't believe there should be any limit to the amount of communication.

I disagree with some of answers previously submitted which states not to offer any personal information to your team. All your team members are real people with real lives (good and bad) and knowing that their leader is a human being with the same kind of problems or life achievements as they can really help to build trust.

Remember, your team becomes your online family and you want to share your life with them. They after all are helping you achieve success online.

As with most things though, too much sharing can also be detrimental. The trick is to keep a good balance.
