Your advertising is only as effective as your Ad title and your Ad copy (the content of the Ad itself). There are free and paid media which you can advertise and get good results. The best way to be effective in either one is to research the media that you wish to advertise in to see if they have a large membership actually reading their Ads. Also, make sure their media targets the type of potential customers you wish to reach.

Free advertising can be very effective if you know how to use it correctly.
Paid can give you more reach, but a lot of these programs never delete anyone so you can never be sure when you see a huge number of people if they're really there or if it's just a number and most of them are inactive or non existent.

I read somewhere that for every 1000 members a program shows, at least 500 are inactive.

Some admins even create users themselves to make it look like there are

I am the kind of person who likes free advertising or the paid ones that are trustworthy and give results but it is better to go with one time payments instead of recurring monthly payments. The most important thing is not the money but your ability to use the advertisments wisely and knowing how to target the right customers. Advertising in general is about framing your mindset to think like a customer in order to know exactly what are the specific needs, and cater to them. For example is you chose

Very good question.

While free advertising works in some respects, paid advertising will get the job done quicker. Reason being, most individuals will consider more seriously whether to join or not to join SFI. They will in my opinion consider the business to be above board and that time and money went into advertising this business.

While we might all like freebies, the truth is my friend that nothing is totally free and as we know SFI needs time, effort and investment.

Each does what you're hoping it does.
Which is to get your Advert's out there.

Free: you may not pay too much attention to it, because
it is just that 'FREE' and if you don't get all it
promised to deliver, no big deal.

However,

PAID: you take more time to make sure you get what
you have paid for.
So at the end of the day it is all a matter of how
much you put into getting out of it.Free or Paid it all
comes back

I think this type question has already been asked here some times ago with different form of question. Well, I will give my answer as I ever answered this type of question before.

The main point here is the advertising that brings the great results and that will lead us to good if not great commission monthly, and that will give us lucrative income as SFI plans for each of us. As I said that it's not the best but the most effective advertising, then I suggest that we need to really careful

There is no "free" advertising that is effective. Advertising effectively is basically a numbers game. The more people you can reach the better are your chances of getting a bite. You can either spend the time reaching those people yourself or you can pay someone to do it for you. How much is your time worth to you and would it be more beneficial for you to spend that time doing something else? How much time do you spend clicking for credits a month, posting on classified ad boards,

One major benefit to a paid classified ad is preferred placement.

Free classified are usually smaller and less visible than paid ads. Also, paid advertisers might have the opportunity to choose where they want to place their ads.

When placing a free ad, space is first-come, first-served. Businesses are not able to control where the publication chooses to print their ad information. Enhanced placement is critical for businesses that rely heavily on business from classified ad

Free advertising can be effective when we have little money to invest in our online marketing business but paid advertising is even more effective in either reaching a larger audience or in getting the attention of the target market. Most free advertising programs offer various upgrades that make your advertising campaign more effective with less effort on our part plus if we get referrals to these advertising programs who upgrade also our advertising becomes free again with the possibility of also

Like all advertising it takes time and watching statistics to determine that. If you are doing all free advertising but getting nothing or you use all paid advertising and you get sign=ups...which one would you choose? Watching your keycodes will determine that.

I believe the question should be "To whom am I advertising?" Then ask "How am I going to reach them most economically?" If you feel putting a little more money will bring in more sign ups eventually paying for
