Sigh, negativity is hard to overcome when exposed to it. Negativity can and does cause people to shy away or stop following their dreams...

In my humble opinion, negativity is not to be looked upon as a bad event but can be a turning point for anyone. Negativity is simply the expression of the opposite of what you are sharing and often negativity is a source of not completely understanding what SFI is all about and not understanding "why" people join SFI to become an affiliate.

With this in mind, when faced with a negative response to my decision to be an affiliate with SFI and my decision to share what SFI has to offer to other people, I silently remind myself what Jim Rohn states, "A teacher will appear when the student is ready." So as an affiliate, or what John states 'a teacher', it may simply be that the person/s you are promoting SFI to may not be ready. When someone is not ready, it is human nature to push things and people away. So when faced with negativity it is simply not about you, the affiliate, it is about SFI ,the thing, that is being pushed away.

So with this in mind, I typically carry on with my way of continuing to show care for the individual by taking the time to get to know him/her better. The better I know the person the better equipped that I will become to being the "teacher" that they are looking for in their life. I know of someone who had no interest in SFI what so ever based on her preconceived ideas about SFI; I respected that but I continued to represent SFI as a professional and still made myself available to my friend when she needed my assistance. During the time that I became better for her, by listening to her needs, I was able to model how SFI helped me out on the very same issues - finding good quality healthy products and another stream of income. After showing consistent positive behaviours about SFI and using products that SFI has that I like to use, this individual turned around as my actions were louder than words. She became a TripleClicks member and said that through my consistent caring for her health and welfare she now has a better understanding what SFI is and appreciates using health products. She told me that she is not ready to take on an affiliate role with SFI - I respected her decision as that is where is for the time being.

Negativity simply requires patience as well as not having affiliates personalize the negativity. Being professional at all times when representing SFI will get you far.

This is an excellent question. Firstly you will need to learn that if someone says "no" they are saying no the the opportunity not to you personally. The quicker you get over a no the faster you will hear a yes as you will be able to speak to more people.

There are some people who are negative it doesn't matter what you do. Just remember some will, Some won't, Some wait, so what, next.

Just continue to look for those that are eager to improve their lives and those of their families.

Remain positive!

Negative people will try to bring you down to their level. Do not becoming argumentative. Allow negative talk to bounce off you.
Negative and positive attitudes can both be contagious.
Instead of being drawn into someone's negativity, you can present a positive attitude that may help to change their attitude. But, don't waste too much time trying to change it, it may not be possible.

You very well know the reasons you joined SFI and the benefits; some may just not get it!

Keep your head up, brush it off and move forward!

Where ever you go in world, you will find find some negative comments on anything you are doing. I have learned a simple technique to overcome this problem of negativity.....

1. When ever you get a negative impression about SFI, just ignore it.

2. Always try to prove the commenting fellow by showing some real output. In this way you may bring them to your team also.

3. Remember the fact 'Comments are made to improve you. If there are no negative comments, you will never think of improving yourself'

As Gery says :"For every 19 NOs you will get ONLY ONE YES".That one YES is what is important.That one person that said yes is the person you need .
Why waste time and energy on people who said NO to change their mind (or to beat yourself up over it )when you can look of NEW 20 people (of which new 19 will be NO and 1 YES)?Optimize your time and energy spent in SFI and focus it in the right direction.

Hello, in every network marketing business there is negativity and it's a fact. SFI is not an exception. If you face negativity you should remember what is your reason to join SFI and if you believe this business is Yours and become serious about it. You shouldn't go so deep inside about the negative response. Yes, it's painful and disappointing, but if you see the other side of coin - it's kind of wisdom. And one more thing - what if someone told you "No" at first? He/she isn't ready to join now or doesn't want to make a change in his/her life. Remember your own dream which made you believe and join this global opportunity. This will resembles you that moving forward it your only option to success in your better life. Well I like to show people there wrong
YOU can make money in this type of work or business.
It isn't going to happen over night I been doing it for
over 14 years now and love the way my business is going.
I tell everybody to fellow SFI rules to success I don't mislead people.
I will not tell you that it is going to make you rich but some it has.
Some it has turn there life around when they had nothing before SFI.

I have made bets with people that I will make more than you and will last
longer than you in it because I have faith in myself an God.
I have determanation to do my best at everything I do and sometimes I go hog wild
over it more than the other person does.
I am willing to do whatever it takes as long as it is right in the eyes of GOD.

That is my answer if you tell me I cannot do it I will show you I can and will make it happen just you wait and see, with God on my side I can not go wrong.
Sure I am going to have bumps in the road but in the long run it can and will happen.

Every bit of negativity or 'no' you get, you are getting closer to a 'yes!'
You HAVE to be resilient! SFI might not suit some people but sometimes the timing in their life is just wrong! Don't take it personally!
We are panning for Gold to find good PSA's so you have to go through a fair bit of dirt to find that nugget! Stay positive and remember, Some will, some won't.......

Always respond with an understanding but positive attitude. Their skepticism should be understood because there ARE a lot of scams out there, especially on the internet. However, SFI has a very open and social atmosphere. You can talk with any other affiliate and see their success. Simply be patient and show them proof of your success later. Better yet, tell them that it is free to join and that they are welcome to try it out for themselves. If nothing else, give them a gift card. They'll at least see the front side of the business and it will speed up your success.

I find that negativity usually comes from people I have known for a period of time.

I like the idea that says to them: "Yes, I know what you mean. I used to think the same thing when I started looking about 5 years ago. And what I found was ______ . And I thought that about SFI at first but when I got into it I found it was very different___."

And you can take it from there. Just answer their question. Whatever it is. And NOTHING more. You can add a positive like: "I have found some really interesting people there." If you see an opening.

Wait for them to ask about more information and tell them you will email the link to your splash page when you get back to check your email tonight "before going to the movies."
