1. There are obvious things like name, email, phone, and SFI ID#.

2. But I also think a very important thing that is often not included on business cards is a "call to action". Things like "call me", "drop me an email", "check out his website"... the list could go on and on.

Decide what is the most important thing you want a new prospect to do, and compel them to do it.

3. You also want a professional looking card... this is the face of your business so show your prospect that you mean business by the appearance and layout of your card.

4. Keep your card simple and memorable. Don't try to fit everything you know about SFI onto your business card... that is for a website or blog.

5. This is hard for me to say, being a retired art teacher, but don't try to be what I call "artsy-fartsy". Cute fonts and graphics have their place, but I am not sure they will show that you are serious about your SFI business.

Business cards remind others what you offer and what services you can do for them even if you do not use your marketing skills in speaking with them. They might not need you for now but tomorrow they would.

Make it super easy for people to contact you.

Give people a few more ways to contact you and do a little research on you.

5. Personal web/blog url and your SFI gateways

6. Company Name (SFI & Tripleclicks)

Get them to remember you and take action!

7. Tag Line/Slogan - A unique tag line or catchy slogan may help people remember you days or even weeks after meeting you.

8. Logo – This should be a part of all your marketing materials.

9. Call to Action – Give people an incentive for contacting you. This can be a link to gift card or free e-book. Be creative.

Business cards are all about first impressions. Having a good layout of the required information is probably the most important thing. You have to know how to section the different information into the correct hierarchy. Good use of the space provided makes all the difference.

Before designing an SFI business card I would suggest having your own mini website. This is something that one of your up line sponsors could set up for their team.

Another way would be to have your own blog on Word press, BlogSpot, or Blogger. Then you're ready to make a business card with your website or blog address on it.

Why? SFI Gateways can not always be opened on a lot of computers with security settings. TripleClicks gateways are okay but it is better to earn the trust of your prospects before making them affiliates.

For your business card I would suggest:

- a good photo of yourself instead of a logo on the left side.
- your full name (plus business name if you have one)
- entrepreneur (or coach/consultant)
- website or blog address
- email address
- city
- phone number
- a catchy phrase

When prospects come to your blog, they will see what the business is all about. This will help a prospect prepare before deciding to sign up. Give them your contact information so that they can ask you questions, or better yet have questions and comments open on your blog so everyone can see. Offer something free to get them to opt in. Everyone likes free stuff. On TripleClicks their are EBooks that can be given away, or maybe you have something yourself that you've written.

Another option would be to have your own Co-op or to join SFI Team Co-op and advertise that on your business card.

Having a business card is always a good idea. Yes there are at least two things that you should be concern of in making your business card.

1. The Looks - which include the design and the lay-out.- You must see a lot of Business cards first so that can compare your card with them.

2. Contents - This is where your question is. The right amount of information. Here are some information that are needed.

If you still prefer to make or order new business cards, you must first decide what you're promoting and what gateway you will be using into the website.
Now, you will have to decide what you are putting on the card to draw people to read it.
Example, "Put a whole new world of customers at your fingertips at no risk to you."
Then, you will need your name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), website with you ID# or your prestige domain.

I have read a lot of great suggestions on the design and content, in answer to your questions. However, all the suggestions include so much stuff that a business card might not have enough space for all of it.

Here's what I would suggest:

1. Decide on what are the most rewarding aspects of SFI for you: SFI has so many different streams of income that you just cannot concentrate on all of them at the same time. So decide which aspect of the SFI business do you want to concentrate on and try to develop with your SFI business card. Once you have shortlisted 2 or maximum 3 aspects, then start about designing your card.

2. The Regular Stuff: The card should obviously have your information like
a) Your Name
b) Your Designation (Executive Affiliate sounds good to me, if you have achieved the status)
c) Your Contact Address / Phone Number
d) Your Website URL / Blog Address / Prestige Domain Address / Splash Page Address

All this information should be neatly listed on one side of the card, So that it is easy for people to read about you first. This makes a great difference because you are presenting yourself to them through the card.

3. SFI Logo: This is a very important part of the card as per me. I would suggest putting the logo on the same side as the one with your personal information. The logo can be on one of the 4 corners or any other place as per your design and aesthetics.

4. Back Side: The back side of the card should carry the information about the streams of income you have shortlisted. Find out the key words that work for that stream of income. Make sure to include them in your description. Here also, try to keep the information concise and precise. Over information can often be a turn off. Also, the description should leave scope for the prospects to speak to you and want to find out more about what it is.

5. Referral Links: Please make sure you include your personal Referral Links to the 2-3 business stream in the card. A very good way is, if you have a Prestige Domain. It looks less like a referral link and more like a website address. Or else, there are a lot of free website hosting services available online. You can use any of them to camouflage your referral link.

My best advise here is to keep it simple.
Most people are not impressed with a busy card.

I suggest:
1)A nice logo and company name

2)Your Name

3)A very brief memorable title or subject line.
ie: Home Internet Business Entrepreneur or SFI Executive Affiliate and Sponsor
ie: MLM at its best, Home Biz Opportunity
(just ideas for reference, make up your own)

4)Contact Info (Website URL,Blog,Phone,Email, etc.)

5)A good color scheme, but, not to busy to make the card difficult to read.
I suggest never more than 3 colors.

My opinion is most people are attracted to and retain in their memories something
that is brief, eye catching and easy to read.

Hello Jennie Great question!

When you are designing a business card you want it to stand out so first off I would include a flashy picture say something that jumps out at the person like a 3-d graphic
or just an amazing picture that can be used as the background

then you would need to include the basics like
* your website or your referral link or if you have a custom domain from SFI
(I strongly recommend having your own website because its easier to remember)
* email address
* a good contact phone number
(if you want you could call your local phone company and ask for an 800 number with an easy to remember number say like 1-800-Call Jen - its cheap to set up)
* and on the back include some basic key facts about SFI like maybe the ultra simple 3 step plan
Thats about it except maybe a catchy slogan
