In my native language there is a saying. I will translate it in English.

"If a thorn is sharp it is sharp from the very first day".

What I mean to say is that if an affiliate is serious about his/her affiliate business it will be obvious from the very beginning.

1. The attempt to contact me before I send them any welcome message.

2. The inquiries they make. e.g., How to earn VersaPoints, How to generate income.

3. Keeping logged in for long duration every day.

4. Staying above the green line in E365 contest.

5. Getting the fast track badge.

6. Participating in A2A, Stream and SFI Forum.

7. Showing concern about the deadlines.

8. His/her Profile, Goals and interests.

The above mention points show that the affiliate is good and will go a long way and is here to stay with SFI.

It is now the responsibility of the upline to be available, encourage and support such affiliates to move forward as such affiliates are the asset to SFI.

The signs that a new affiliate will be a good one are:

-Earning the Fast Track Badge.
-Completing their To Do List such as uploading their photo, confirming their registration and white listing SFI.
-Logging in everyday and completing their Launchpad lessons.
-Trying to stay above the green line.
-Immediately apply some marketing methods and sponsor some members and affiliates.
-In their second month, they set up a standing order.
-They become a member of IAHBE, buy S-Builder units, Tcredits, gift cards, or business cards.

However, just because they don’t make purchases their second month doesn’t mean they’re going to be a bad affiliate, it just may be that they’re not financially capable. In this situation, we have to teach them how to generate sales and sponsor affiliates using free advertising techniques such as blogging in Blogger or WordPress, advertising in social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, in traffic exchanges such as Traffic Swarm, safelists, writing articles and submitting them to Ezine Articles or Street Articles, writing in Squidoo.com, making a video using CamStudio.org and submitting them to YouTube; MetaCafe; and Vimeo, and posting classified ads.

They are also reading the Internet Income Course everyday. And once they do have the capital, I bet they will invest in their business. We have to make an affiliate a good one and motivate them.

Base on my observation to all new affiliates, these are the signs who have a potential to be a good one:
1. If he can complete his Getting Started Actions and earn a Fast Tracker badge from the day that he start to sign up.
2. If he is very active in getting VersaPoints and immediately become EA, BTL or STL within his first month.
3. If he can immediately build his team by sponsoring PSAs.
4. If he can immediately invest money just to promote and advertise SFI and TripleClicks to get PSAs or PRMs.
5. If he can do purchase products or setting a Standing Order at TripleClicks Store.
6. If willing to build his own store as ECA in TripleClicks as long as he has completely knowledgeable.
7. If he has a time to learn, read, and apply those marketing tools and trainings that SFI have already build and prepared to use for the success of everyone.
8. Last but not the least, if he possesses most of the positive values and traits that needs to be successful in SFI, like – having determination, passion, persistent, focused, self- motivated, discipline, patience, optimistic, a good leader and many more.

In my opinion these are signs that a new affiliate is going to be a good one (why I think so, you can read below):
1. Check that he/she confirmed registration.
2. Read your welcome letter and goes through start tasks.
2. Affiliate tries to log every day and do daily tasks.
3. Goes through launchpad lessons on a regular basis.
4. Stays above green line in E365 contest.
5. Participates in your incentives and contests (if you have any).
6. Sends you a commitment message.
7. If he/she contacts you that's great, but it's not must have during first weeks.
8. If he invests money it's also good but is not must have.

Of course some affiliates might wake up later and start to work, so not exclude them from you weekly e-mails, but don't spend too much time with them.


My more detailed explanation:

First thing is how much time persons spends on SFI. Very often you can see that somebody joined SFI, but not even confirmed registration. This person won't be good one.
If they don't have time to read your affiliate message then it's also a problem.

Then you should check their activity page and how much VersaPoints they've earned. If it's hard for somebody to upload a photo (what takes max 3 minutes) or whitelist e-mail addresses or answer a few questions about goals etc. then how you can expect that such person will find time to learn from SFI?

On the other hand I see that some people answer that such person need to ask questions and contact you. If your affiliate contact you then for sure such person is interested in being successful in SFI.
However it's not must have. Some people are shy, introverts, or just have too much to read at first weeks to contact you and ask questions. I'm for example learned to firstly seek for information in papers (in this case on SFI page, forums, FAQs) before I start to bother somebody more experienced in this case sponsor. It doesn't mean that I ignore e-mails that I get from my sponsors.

Some says that important is if person invest money to become EA. You need to remember that not all people have money to invest (even these $30). In my team I have some affiliates that lost their job, or leave in countries that currency exchange levels make $30 really a lot of money. However they invest huge amount of time to learn, advertise on safelists and classified ads. In such case I recommend you to help them with your money by organizing incentives, giving them a share in your Co-ops for free etc.

Just as a Director of a business corporation will be looking among his co-workers to see any signs of leadership,so we equally need to look for the signs in our PSAs to know whether they are promising good business partners or not.
If you notice the following signs in them you will certainly know they are going to be good Affiliates.
1:Check his or her level of growth of the scoreboard.
2:Notice the type of questions he or she asks you and other up lines.
3:His or her understanding of the Training lessons and consequently applying them.
4:He or she has already registered as an A2A and completed the profile without any waste of time.
5:He or she is constantly maintaining his or her E365 status in all the rounds.
6:He or she has already set up the standing order and doing some purchases at TrippleClicks already.
I think these are just a few signs among many other signs you can notice in a promising good Affiliate. Hope this helps many too.

Your new affiliate is your new worker.

If you are the boss at your workplace, you will be able to identify who is your good worker through the following:

1) Work Ethic - Know what to be done and get it done without supervision
2) Self Motivation - Know what are the goals and work to reach the goals
3) Positive Attitude - Do not complain or give a lot of excuses but try to understand and keep on doing the job given
4) Dependability - Can go the extra mile
5) Problem solving skills - Be able to apply all the knowledge to come up with a solution
6) Teamwork - Be able to work in a team to achieve common goal

The above definitely apply to your SFI business for new affiliate:

Work Ethic - Is your new affiliate log in daily? Go through their to-to list action? Go through their launchpad?

Self motivation - Is your new affiliate work for the 500 VP (fast track) within 24 hours?

Positive Attitude - Is your new affiliate really commit themselves to SFI? Set up standing order of 1500 VP or more?

Dependability - Is your new affiliate take your challenge when you are willing to provide the incentive?

Problem solving skill - Is your new affiliate really do what supposed to be done by applying all the methods suggested by SFI?

Teamwork - Is your new affiliate already start sponsoring? Is your new affiliate embraces the concept of TEAM (Together We Achieve More)?

If the answer is NO to most of the questions above, then it is better for you to keep on moving.
You definitely don't want this issue to bring you down.

So, when your worker doesn't perform, what should you do?
HIRE new worker

If your new affiliate doesn't perform in your SFI business, SPONSOR new ones.

This is a great question - and I think new affiliates show different levels of interest. And project different levels of probable success (although this can always change! so never give up on anyone! :)) I think the following are some good signs of how they may perform:

1) The single best way to see that someone may be successful is DO THEY CREATE A STANDING ORDER? An affiliate can get by the first two months maybe getting 1500 VP and becoming EA without any purchases, but after the second month, you need to make some purchase - only $15 to $30 each month in order to ensure that you are EA. Think about it - the daily points are 11/day, which is at most 343 for a month - and you can get some from monthly actions, another 150-200 VP. But the only other way to reach 1500 VP is to sponsor other EA2's (which means you're convincing other people, after their second month, to make purchases so they stay EA2 so you get the points for sponsoring them!).

So for me, the BEST way to see that someone will be successful is if they create a standing order - because they realize that a successful business requires some investment - even a SMALL investment - of both time and yes, money.

If someone spends $30/month on IAHBE, it only takes FOUR of their PSA's to do the same for that person to break even for the month. Everything else is icing on the cake!

2) While standing order for a monthly purchase from TC is the best indicator, other factors can indicate that an affiliate will be a good one such as:
a) logging in daily,
b) completing daily tasks,
c) communicating with you as their sponsor, asking questions, etc.

First, I think it's important not to judge new affiliates if they don't get started right away. Lots of people have started, disappeared for awhile, and come back with great results.

However, there are definitely signs that an affiliate is more interested in learning about the program.

Getting on the FastTrack and earning VP by reading and learning is a good sign. When they fill out their profile, you can gauge how interested they are by the score SFI gives them. When they add a picture and join the a2a network, that is another good sign.

However, the best indicator that I've seen is that the PSA communicates with you. They reply to your e-mails and Team Mails, look you up on Skype (or whatever communication channels you have listed on your Leadership page). Communication is key. If they are actively seeking out your help, I think it is more likely they are serious and willing to put the effort into learning about the program.

Ultimately, their logging in daily, doing their daily/weekly/monthly VP actions, and recruiting their own team will show you if they are serious.

Also, it is a good sign that they've learned about the program and are committed to it when they have set up a standing order. This usually means they understand the importance of a standing order and the concepts that SFI is built on, especially how being an EA2 is to their benefit.

You can never really be sure how far an affiliate will go or how good they will be however there are in fact some signs to look for to give you an indication of a promising affiliate.

1. Look at the affiliate's VP Ledger. Are they visiting daily and accumulating their daily points? Have they received a streak badge? This may be an indication of interest and attention being paid to the program.

2. Has this affiliate appeared in an Forum posts? This may again show that they are interested in getting feedback from others to help them be successful.

3. Have they been responding to their Sponsor's or Co-sponsor's messages? Have they been initiating contact themselves? These are signs of interest and you should always respond to show support and help this affiliate understand even more about this great opportunity.

4. Have they started to recruit? Some affiliates as they learn, start to recruit from their warm markets early. By now we should all know the power of building a strong downline so this is a great sign that they are taking their business seriously.

There are other indications however it should be noted that every affiliate has different life circumstances and while you may not see signs of activity from an affiliate in the initial stages, you should never give up on them because their circumstances may change months or a year from signing up and suddenly they become active and one of your rock stars!

This is a wonderful question.... For my experience, having the business only for a few months here in SFI, I noticed that a lot of PSA's and CSA's are not active or they do sign up but never kept up with what they're supposed to do for their business here in SFI. I am assuming for a lot of reasons, maybe they're looking for something that can make them money right away or even thinking that SFI is a get rich quick scheme program that they can join.

Well, I don't think some of the new affiliates realize that in order for you to become successful in anything that you desire to do, You must follow the rules and create a working environment for yourself. Whether it's the hours or even just putting enough effort so that you can grow your business.

So far in my eyes, the signs are:

1. If an affiliate communicates with you right away after you have sent them your welcome message in your team.

2. If an affiliate is logging on to SFI business everyday to simply educate themselves about the business.

3. If an affiliate has gain confidence and trust in SFI that they are willing to invest in time and money into the business.

These are the 3 actions that I have seen in my months that I have been with SFI.

I think that most of us from the start can relate to some of the affiliates thinking that this business is difficult or complicated, while in fact, it's not!

It's not easy to challenge yourself with a new venture but if you continue to work hard, you have perseverance, belief and motivation to think Big and Higher into your business then you know that you in the end you will Succeed...

For now, this is my small advise from my experience but I'm sure other's have more experience than me but I hope that my simple advise will help you answer your question.
