I do not know how I did not enrolled in SFI 15 years ago.
I'm on the Internet since 1993.
Probably the need to first learn Marketing English with words such as:

marketing leads, referrals, prospect, customer, angry buyers, opt-in, verified subscribers, trusted opportunities, income figures 6 7 9, 4 tiers, hipe, tips, cross marketing , rules compliances, affiliates, associates, mass mailing, spam, upline, downline, online advertising, including contextual ads, search engine results pages, banner ads, blogs, rich media ads, social network advertising, interstitial ads, online classified advertising, advertising networks, dynamic banner ads, cross-platform ads, e-mail marketing, including e-mail spam.

Many Of These types of ads are delivered by an ad server.

What I would do differently is learning more deeply, before start any FREE subscription to any Work at Home Job and opportunity.See SFI Launchpad.

Today I have my websites (not one but several)and I am continuing with socialnetworking as today revel to be the best practice to invite people around my interests and small-business.

Like most things in life you have the what if's? Should I, would I, could I?
It is part of the human condition to question and unfortunately over think situations that in the end will always give a positive or a negative reason for coming to the achieved end.
We stress ourselves over simple things yet when handed something with any level of complexity stand back and be amazed at how well you did because of not over thinking or reacting due to not having the time to ponder what if.
It's true we do sometimes think if we could do it all over how we would do it differently but seriously, what you have done whether good or bad has its own merits of success or limited gains. Remember, we don't do failure as everything is an experience to learn from or to build upon.
So don't ask if you could start again what would you do but look at it as another chapter in your success story.
I know I may have deviated from the initial question but I don't believe in looking back unless it is to see how to get around the obstacle I may have reached from a different angle.

I hope this helps and I'm sure many will give you ideas of what they feel they may do, remember though, anything suggested will still be hypothetical as anyone who has had to take a step back will only of done that to reevaluate options to continue forwards.
It is the thought of a challenge that produces brain cells to react and the pumped adrenalin to flow, in order to make the decisions that excite or create fear of our actions.

When I started out I had no Idea if I could earn from SFI, I think I would Have Invested faster in setting up ECA status, preparing product ahead of time.
I would set a firm budget and focus my spending on bringing in new affilliates and ECA's, use a seperate household budget for personal orders, so that I have consistant funding for standing orders, and advertising. ( Find lots of offers in the buisness products listings) less impulse buying.
I think most importent is making a strong connection with a sponsor or co-sponsor who has the knowledge you need to help make buisness decisions, And begin to see yourself as a buisness person.

I would spend less time recruiting affiliates and more time recruiting ECA's and advertising TripleClicks (TC). While I agree recruiting affiliates is important, so is making money. You're more likely to make money faster by recruiting ECA's than affiliates. I did not realize how important this was and sort of treated TC as an after thought. I wish now I had focused primarily on TC.

- On day 1, I would fill in every form, fast track and reach EA status.
- On day 1, I would set up a couple or more of recurring standing orders that would maintain both my TL status and get me CSAs, PSAs. - On day 1, I would create my co-ops and start getting the most promising affiliates in it.
- Every day I would check on my genealogy and send them each and all relevant mail every few days, congratulating them for any achievements to make them feel looked after and part of something bigger and great for their better financial future (all that from day 1).
- Every day I would log in and do everything on my to-do list (including the Ask SC which I did not understand requiring the reading a lot more than one answer a day)
- I would start being active on the forum from day 1 as well but only would start submitting answers to Ask SC after 2 weeks of hard SFI work, reading and practice.
There is surely more I would add to this in a few days, weeks and months from now but today that is what I am thinking. Also, it is not because I wish that I had done all these sooner that it stops me from doing them now. I might have had their benefit earlier if I had started earlier, but certainly starting things today still gets you the benefits earlier than if you started them tomorrow or after. With SFI, the sooner you let go of procrastination and commit yourself, the sooner you can see the benefits. However, if you are late you will only see the benefits later, not never, unlike those who do not try

This is a powerful question, and I am very glad it has come up. That is because it has the power to positively affect everyone who reads the responses, and get them in connection with the many paths to success.

If I were to start completely over, I would do everything the same, but with 10x more the efforts with just 10 actions.

That is, 1. I would immediately get to work on my Getting Started Actions and LaunchPad Lessons to earn at least 500 VersaPoints and my Fast-Track Badge within 24 hours of signing up, since this badge seems to let other affiliates who see it know you were serious since day one.

2. I would continue to log in everyday and earn my Daily VersaPoints, as well as enter the Daily Grand with high hopes of earning extra CSAs, since it only takes less than 30 minutes to complete and each day those points assist me in getting the Silver, Gold, or Platinum Team Leader rank.

3. I would continue having my Standing Order in place with the IAHBE Membership, 100 TCredits, S-Builder Co-Op Units, and/or necessary promotion materials provided by TripleClicks Direct, since they all hold tremendous value, and the Standing Order of at least 1500 VersaPoints automatically makes me an EA.

4. I would continue to generate additional PSAs through my own efforts of advertising and marketing, and participating in Co-Ops with a successful track record, since your business thrives off of additional active PSAs.

5. I would continue to make friends through A2A, since SFI allows its affiliates to cross communicate to just say hi, get training, participate in Co-Ops, or any other reason you can think of.

6. I would continue to provide additional training, that is extremely easy to duplicate, to all affiliates through my personal website and blog, as well as newsletter, because duplication is what takes your business to the next level, and what helps others become successful.

7. I would continue to absorb as much useful knowledge I could from the available training, Ask SC, Forum and various blogs providing helpful tips, since learning a business is always an ongoing process.

8. I would continue to dedicate time each week to generating new TripleClicks members, since that would provide you with lifetime 45% commissions of every purchase. And as an added bonus, if they so choose not to join the SFI Affiliate Program, then I would get forwarded all of the VersaPoints for every purchase made by every TripleClicks-only member I refer.

9. I would continue to dedicate time each week to locating and referring potential ECAs, since a referred ECA provides you with lifetime 10% commissions of every sale that ECA makes, and that could be HUGE depending on what they are offering. And,

A new start is always good if it means to better your self.

What to do differently, is to recall any mistakes made before and not repeat them. Do better than what you did before.

If this means having a more positive look at SFI as your own business, and not giving up then take the steps.

If learning new stuff that weren't there before then that is very beneficial for you as you may already have an idea in how SFI works, but now also have the tools to do better to be more successful.

With the new technologies, there are bound to be more changes on SFI, but I am positive that will all be done to be more easier for us, for our business, for us all to be more successful.

If I could start over again with the knowledge I have now, I would do a lot of things differently. I guess part of being new is the learning process, and hopefully we can pass some of these ideas down to our new affiliates and help them progress faster.

First of all, I would wait on a lot of my "one-time" action points. It is so easy to earn EA status your first month with all the VP you can earn from these points. I always advise my new affiliates to stop earning those points when they reach EA for the first time. If you save them for the next month, it is so much easier to reach EA2 status.

Second, I would treat SFI as a business. Even if you only have half an hour a day to spend, you can make this work for you. I would spend my time more wisely, learning as much as I could and making sure to log in every day and earn my daily VP. I would make sure to read all of the new forum threads as well. There is so much information in the forum, and that's where I found most of my answers. The forum was far more helpful to me in the beginning than anyone in my upline.

I would seek out leaders from the forum and the a2a network. My sponsors did not help me much in the beginning. It would have been nice to find people who could help me and answer my questions when I was still learning the basics.

I would have joined the S-Builder Co-op in the beginning, and waited another month or two for my subscription to IAHBE. There is enough to learn on the SFI site to keep you busy for your first month. Because the S-Builder takes a few weeks to see results, I would have bought some affiliates from the TC store. This would give me the opportunity to learn how to use the genealogy mailers and give me an opportunity to start building my team right away.

I would invest in getting a custom domain. You can buy them in the TC store, but I won mine in a PriceBender auction. It makes a real big difference when you are advertising your link. Many people won't even check out a link to an affiliate site, because so many of them are junk. This gives you a big advantage when getting people to your site.

This brings me to my last point. I wish I had realized the power of PriceBender auctions when I first started. You can win so many different things to grow your business. Sometimes, people get a hundred CSAs for less than a dollar. Gift cards, IAHBE subscriptions, custom domains. And they go for pennies on the dollar! These are all things that will make your business grow. Granted, you have to watch the auctions and learn how to be smart, but it is a very powerful avenue to explore for expanding your business.

Hopefully, I can convey some of these ideas to my downline, and make it easier for them. :)
