It would be nice if there was a simple answer to how to motivate your downline--But setting an example of honesty, work ethic, and a sincere desire to make them succeed will move mountains of disappointments they have experienced on the Internet.

I believe in giving various gifts or rewards--but one must be careful not to buy their loyalty or drive. The main principle within the Bible is "DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU" which translates into action of "Loving your neighbor as yourself.

This pattern is contagious if its real. It is so special in a world of selfish people who think of "ME first." Our attitude toward the inactive should be, "Here is someone to help". How may I do so? Mainly, by being understanding.

Many are simply poor. Many dream of getting "Rich Quick" because some slick guru has deceive them with double meaning words. They steal what little money most do have. Some may have difficulty resolving language barriers from English to their language.

The secret is not helping the whole world. Your limited world is the dozens of CSA's you are given to work with. Separate five or six people that show persistent effort---help those five get their five or six people. Draw them out of the pool of CSA's. To do that, you have to communicate with them. If you know how to do that, you have shown others the way--and those few will eventually grow into 10,000 people you have helped directly and indirectly. But you have to have the patience to wait for it. Make it your goal. More than a New Year's resolution.

First-give them incentive to motivate your affiliates on contest you are having or a co-op you are having.
Second-Give them rewards and complements on achieving each goal.
third-give them advice on things,watch their VP ledger report,tell them what needs to be done.
Fourth- communication between your affiliates is a must,your the teacher try hard to get a response from all affiliates.
I feel my sponsor has did a great job,so I will follow his advice and start growing my team.

There are many ways to motivate your downline. Use the methods that worked for you and then try others suggested by affiliates. Some affiliates will not be motivated, no matter how hard you try, but don't give up. When you receive a positive response from someone in your downline, continue to work with them personally until you understand their drive. Duplication is a motivator as is competition. See if they can get to, or better the number of badges you have. Money is a huge motivator and the reason most of us are here. Let them know how they can make money by using your team and personal emails.

The best way is to practice you preach, if you tell them to login everyday then login everyday. If you tell them to communicate with their downlines then you communicate with them.
Always answer in time to their questions
Talk to them personaly and grouply.
Give some incentives when you can.

Most of it all show some professinality and caring.

one of the ways i motivate my downline is to always incourage them them to stay above the gren line and to congradulate them on their good work that they are doing

Great question and really relevant to everyone one of us as affiliates. Transparency is a key element for anyone to consider when being a mentor, leader, and or sponsor. Being open and honest about what has worked, what did not work in the past and what investments - monetary and non-monetary, you have personally done will move people to take a risk in their own SFI business. Transparency will have your business practices become tangible for others and not seem so difficult. Transparency also requires one to be aligned with what they say and do. Motivation is driven by passion so transparent business practices displayed by the up-line (all members) is a great way to build passion and motivation in members of the downline...in-fact every member serves another so motivations is a byproduct of the connections made by every member.

Good question! Glad you asked. Just be you. Be real. Be accessible. Write like you talk. Make your language simple and clear.

People like to work (and follow) people they like, respect, and admire. It isn't work to motivate someone who likes, respects, and admires you. You ask or suggest to them that they should do something that will improve their business. They will do it, if they possibly can.

For example, I think most of us would do anything Erich asked us to do. And most of us don't know him personally. However, he is accessible - we see him all over the Affiliate Center. We comment to his streams. He writes clearly, simply, and his caring shines through. He suggests actions that will help us. There is probably more than one Erich in SFI, but you know of whom I speak: Erich Winnecke.

You can offer all the contests and awards you want, but it is the relationship you build with your downline--even those that don't communicate with you--that makes motivation work best.

Internet marketing, network marketing, is a people business. When they know you care, they will also care. However, if the time is not right for them, they won't take action.

Give yourself the best chance of motivating your downline by being a warm, caring person, and let it show.

Work with the Workers is the best method. I suggest that when You get real questions from Your downline, offer them the most appropriate SFI reading suggestions, and how to find them.

action speaks better than words any day if your doing your daily, weekly, monthly, and 1 time task then your downline will also, if your doing your weekly mailing's to all your downline members and CSA's so will they also. If your advertising daily so will your team members and if they need advertising places they will email you also for places and if not there welcome to email me at [email protected] for advertising places just put SFI member needs advertising places and I will send them to you.
That is your main key to success in SFI promoting promoting do I need to say more on the internet and in your local area where you live I say within 10 to 25 miles from where you live and then if you travel promote it in that area also since your there, it doesn't hurt. I can never say stop on this subject I am sorry but that is the key to getting people into SFI and triple clicks. Making up flyers telling people about SFI and giving them to people is great. Always tell your downline there doing a good job when your seeing them bring in people to SFI, don't just look at level one look at all levels down your looking for leaders on all levels below you.
