Hello and Thank You for bringing such an important question to the board!
- First, I must admit that I am not aware of any possibility for automatic messages other than the Greeting that is automatically available for the new comers;
- Second, there is the Team Mail that is available through the Stream Posts for which we are rewarded by 3 VPs weekly... so personally, I got into the habit of making a Stream Post everyday so that I do not miss on any VPs and it provides me with the opportunity

Linda,

Like Williams said if you want to send automatic messages to your downline then an autoresponder would be the tool to use. But I would be cautious about depending on an autoresponder. You want your affiliates to feel that you have a personal interest in them, so individualized messages are more important. You want to adapt your message to the individual affiliate’s need. As they say “One shoes does not fit all”

Write a series of messages into a word document that you can copy and paste as and when relevant. I have found it very time consuming trying to put together the same message for an affiliate who has made it to the next level, or who may have won something etc. That way you can still use the PSA, CSA, and Team Mailer etc but not spend the time writing the actual email. It will take you sometime to pull the information together but then you add to it as you need to.

For personal greeting ot my affiliates I use the SFI feature: http://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/NewAffiliateGreeting -for greeting and you can make an explaining mail on autoresponder - it doesn't change.
I work with a company, who provides autoresponder /up to 10 messages/ and I have made already the e-mails with information to send. This is also valid for the training I do for my team members, but they should show the will to receive my messages. I put e-subscription form on my web page.

I generally like to keep my team mails in my regular e-mail folders for each catagory, then pick which personally written mail I would like to use.

Since my yahoo e-mail tab is always open, its very easy to tab over and just open the specified folder and copy my message, then tab back to SFI and paste my message to my Team Mail that I am sending out and can modify it as needed.

To me it is a very fast and easy method to use. Simple huh?

Good question,
Inside SFI you have only one option to send automatic message i.e. Sending a personal greetings to newly joined PSA to your group. That you can find in the VP Ledger and modify and save it any time.
To send them more emails periodically you can create a series of mails in your personal autoresponder and ask them to subscribe to it.
In the personal welcome message you can give your autoresponder link. Once the opt for for your newslaters you can send them as many as mails

I agree with the Affiliates who only use the SFI on the welcome message. People helping people is what SFI is about. Getting a personal email from you, the upline, as a real person is what will help to grow a relationship, remember we are all humans with the basic need of knowing someone cares about you as a person. Auto responses are everywhere but when you get a Christmas Card in the post handwritten by someone, how special is that!

When opening an account with SFI one of the process you go through is setting up a welcome note for new affiliate. Well you can also fellow these simple steps:

1. Click on "My Acct" at the right hand of your screen.
2. Click on "Misc" (ie miscellaneous account option)
3. Then click on "My New Affiliate Greeting and follow the step given.

There are other ways you can automatically send messages to all your sponsored affiliate and also your

You can set up automatic messages for your new affiliates here: https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/NewAffiliateGreeting

For current affiliate, you can send team mails.
There are three types of teammails:
1) PSA mailer - sends your message to only all your PSAs. You can send a PSA mail here : https://www.sfimg.com/PowerTools/PSAmailer1

2) CSA mailer - sends your message to only all your CSAs. You can send a CSA mail here : https://www.sfimg.com/PowerTools/CSAmailer1
