Very good question !!
E365 contest is a very good opportunity given to new affiliates to set up the base of their business here.
1) When your affiliates join, Tell them about E365 on the very first day. Tell about its importance.
2) Explan to them the entire procedure how this goes, From Round 1 to Round 6.
3) When a new affiliate join SFI, all He/she can see on his/her home page is the information about their position with respect to the Green Line, which is well highlighted.

There are a few way how to do that, although the most important thing is encouraging. You should give them knowledge about what is the benefit of keep above line :
1. The VP we can get help us to get to EA level
2. The chance to win a prize each level upgrade
3. The chance to win a prize if already become finalist. It is 365 days chance to get that. Don't say that it is imposible. Although it has no relation, but once i get prize from daily grand. And it helps me a lot
4. Encouraging

Welcome new affiliates immediately and offer them incentives, like co-op shares, gift certificates, TCredits, and whatever help they might need. Encourage them to move quickly by doing all the daily tasks and completing the LaunchPad and all the other readings on the SFI site during the first few days. Keep in contact with all your team often. That means each week at least once. Answer questions affiliates have as quickly as possible. Do all of the tasks yourself and have badges on your site

OK let me give you an example. If you stand at the starting line in a race do you focus on whats beside you or do you focus on were you want to get to, to achieve you target? If you look behind to see who is catching you, you may trip up. If some one tells you you wont win and you hear that tell them this;

"I will wait for you at the finish line" JUST DO IT!

For most new affiliates, it is difficult to believe that they can be #1 in their class at the end of the 365th day. It doesn't matter that it's free. Winners of races often take a strong initial lead---place them high above the green line--then, it is easy to keep the lead and improve it. Be willing to do for yourself what MOST WILL NOT DO. My class has dropped from 2236 down to a steady competitive 41. Now, I have real competition. I am #3 but I have a lot of work to do to become #2, and much more

This thread is timely.

I cannot describe the fantastic feelings of becoming an E365 Champion despite being inactive for more than 10 years (due to personal reasons), because of full-blast action that I put-in for about three years at the launch of SFI.

Whatever you do in SFI regarding Points, the idea of RECOGNITION & ACCUMULATION is a brilliant SFI marketing idea, like so many unique GC ideas.

Timely because I am devoting several pages of description of this

The first thing I would do is to walk them through the program step by step and give them a number where they can reach and talk to a living person should they get stuck with a problem, so that they can move forward to the next project.

It is part of the learning process for all NEW people that join SFI and also for people during there first 1 year in SFI that is why it is called E365 and if you do all your daily, weekly, monthly, 1 time task in SFI, and also buy item's from triple clicks to give you at least 1500+ VP total in a month to be a EA. Then your also trying items that you know that others might want to buy from you. That way there learning all about SFI and triple clicks and getting rewards for doing so there first month

Make sure that new affiliates are aware of the perm's of trying to be top of their class. Encourage them often to work on their versa points not only to keep them in the running for the competition but also to grow their business. Communication is key whenever you are trying to help or inspire your team.

Help them to understand simply:

1- Free Points help them to move up month after month

2- By completing "Fast Track" they are going to be at the top of their class

3- By staying in the 365 Game they will continue to build their businesses and collect honors and prizes.

4- They can receive FREE additions to their downline. CSAs are added monthly to active leaders...which they will be if they stay in the 365 Game.
