Make sure that they log in every day to complete all of the actions that give them free VP. Let them know that they can advertise for free through various venues such as social networking, blogs, Facebook, emails, etc...I even print flyers from the marketing section and send them out in every piece of outgoing mail that I send.
Offer some financial help that involves a minimal amount of money, like for example payment of W3 kit, which is only $1.95. This is a small amount but it is significant--not for the monetary value but for the helpfulness shown to the Affiliate. The return will be huge when gratitude is repaid in the future. Besides, loyalty of the Affiliate is achieved.
Try asking them if they have sold any product from tripleclicks. In that way if they are able to sell some products they can then support their business.
The best way to help affiliates who can't afford to purchase anything is to show them the very best available advertising methods. You do not need to purchase anything at any time in order to succeed in the SFI business. All you need is dedication and a creative mind for advertising and promoting. Coach them along and show them the best places and methods to advertise their products. They will eventually succeed.

struggling is just tell them to make sure that they log on and go through the to-do list every day to earn Versapoints. Explain to them that the Versapoints are valuable because they help them advance from an affiliate to an EA which gives them more chances to earn money. I have only been with SFI for about a month and I have already become an EA and looking forward to advance to the next level by January! Also, tell new affiliates they can use Pricebenders auctions to buy things they need for a fraction of the cost and also refer friends and family so they earn commissions on the sales. I also recommend printing out flyers that promote Tripleclicks and posting them in their neighborhoods. Every time someone joins they will make money. I hope these tips help.

Just have them do the TO-DO-LIST first and share about the products of TC. There are lots of things they can do without having to pay much. And once they reach the EA level, they should be earning something with which they could purchase some stuff that would yield them more points!
