Well, how much is a share of an advertising co-op? Even just one share can really help. I've seen them for as low as $12.00/share on TripleClicks. Some cost a little more, but you can always set up your own co-ops with your downline to help take some of the risk off yourself (this less risky investment is also favorable to your team members.) It is the simplest way to gain new affiliates and commissions, especially if you are like me and don't have enough time to effectively advertising for yourself! If $12.00 is pushing it as far as what you are willing to invest, try purchasing some of the business cards that TripleClicks has to refer potential affiliates and customers. The cards are very reasonably priced as well, just a couple dollars for a few hundred, and you can drop a business card ANYWHERE! And just in case, don't ever invest any money into advertising, that you cannot afford to lose!

I would go on a budget on what an affiliate can afford and it all depends how much a site charges and everything, go as cheap as you can each month because if you pay a lot you still might not get a lot of hits. The way to advertise is by volume, in other words, you have to send out a bunch of ads over a period of months. I go as cheap as I can but maximize the ads by going to good traffic sites. S-Builder is one of the good ways to advertise for a reasonable price. If you have a blog or website, it is good to advertise there with SFI and TripleClicks banners as you pay for a website host for your website unless you have one of the free ones. As for the free websites you can still advertise with banners!

It depend on each individual budget level. But I always advise to test out with a small amount first to see the effectiveness of your ads before throwing all your budget into one basket. Once you noticed the ads is getting in sales of more than 50% the amount you spend on advertisement than you can increase your amount of spending for the advertisement.
Essentially, there's no limit to how much one can spend on advertising. Advertising is the lifeblood of any business and the more you can advertise, the more your profit potential.
However though, how much you should spend on advertising your business depends entirely on you and what you think works for you.
Personally, when I joined SFI, I re-invested almost a 100% of my initial incomes back into the business and till this day, I still re-invest a major part of my income back into it because I have a target for myself and haven't reached it yet.
So I think you should advertise with a greater part of your initial profits until it reaches a point where you feel you are satisfied with your income and can therefore afford to relax a little bit.

The cost of one unit of S-Builder Co-op will work for me! It's very inexpensive but covers a vast scope of the advertising media! It's good if you can have a couple of slots for greater chances of exposure! Also acquiring an inexpensive website like the VeryVIP Standard Hosting Package which you can get for just about less than $15 would be very useful in creating personally branded advertising to make you stand out of the millions out there!
An SFI affiliate should allocate funds for advertising each month if he or she wants the business to grow. Although there are many ways to make this kind of business to grow without spending money, when you spend money in advertising you would see a dramatic rise in your income. That is how an online business grows nowadays.

Allow yourself to take risk but not risks that will put you in the negative. If you do a lot of research, you will find all kinds of free advertising sites. Including your local stores posting boards! You don't have to just advertise online.
