I think that sometimes we try too hard to present a totally professional business attitude. I can write until my fingers are nubs and no one answers. Then I send the wrong letter out to a group and have to send an apology with the correct letter . And even people who have not logged in for a year have responded. So they are reading their email from me when they don't log in. Or some of them, anyway.

That's not the best way to get attention, but it tells me that some of my people like to know I'm human and do err.

Another way I get response is to pick in your face topics, like "are we making money, yet," "is this the last time you will her from me?" (to the red flags), "what happens after graduation?' (for those who have completed the To Do List training and run out of easy vp). I try to touch on many different topics that I suspect they are wrestling with. I have had a fair amount of response on these.

But I like writing to just one individual after looking at their profile and VP Ledger and offering help in certain areas.

As I expect is normal, most people do not respond back. I just keep writing to my expanded genealogy with the same letters I send my team.

I send letters to those on My Movers and have had good response from them. Not all, but I have good relationship with some.

Most people spend countless hours writing letters to their PSAs and CSAs and get no responses,the majority of the time. I use to do this too, so I came up with a plan because I wanted results..

This plan works for me..

1.When a PSA that joins my group especially through the S Builder Co-op, I do not start writing to them until they get active. In other words,when points show on their Versapoint Ledger , that's when my letters start flowing. They have already received my automatic welcome introduction, right after they signed up. Then I copy their email address to my contact list an send them an email.

I use various letters, so here is an example of one..

Thanks again for joining and welcome to the Team. We are really proud of you!.

I noticed that you have started working your Versapoint Ledger. This is the key to being successful in SFI. Continue to log in your SFI homepage everyday and work on scoring as many points as you can.

As your sponsor, I'm concerned about your success in the business. It's about doing the the right things to get results.If you have any questions or concerns...just let me know and I will try to help you. I would also suggest that you make EA Status this month by achieving 1500 Versapoints. This would be the most important step to take if you want to seriously start growing your monthly residual check. Please keep it simple..have fun and stay focused.

We also have a plan to help you grow your Versapoints and qualify for EA status every month!

2. When CSAs join my group...especially through reassignment , I automatically send a Group Welcome letter using the the Geneolgy mailer.

When a CSA gets active with Versapoints , again my email letters start flowing. I copy their email address in my contact list and send them an email.

I also use various letters and here is an example of one.

As your Co-Sponsor , I'm concerned about your success in the business.I have noticed that you are missing so many Versapoints each day by not working your Versapoint Ledger. I continue to write these type of letters consistently to all of my active PSAs and CSAs and my response rate has definitely increased. They write me back frequently and I have a connected a bond with them.

I try my best to make my messages/mails more interesting to motivate them for reply. For that I ask them:
1. What made you interested to become SFI Affiliate?
2. How attractive and beneficial you found SFI/Tripleclicks?
3. What's the best & most appealing part you like most at SFI/TC?
4. What's the best way we join hands to make our team the best?
5. Watching your progressive moves/achievements, I appreciate/welcome your opinions.
6. If you get EA/BTL/STL/GTL/PTL status before end of the month, I feel proud to have affiliate like you in my team. And I'll offer you Cash Gift Certificate/TCredits/Re-assignments of your choice. So please let me know your preference.

I always write my team mails open ended. I include all the appreciations, tips, to dos, goals, encouragements in my team mail and lastly I leave it to them by asking questions like: "ARE YOU READY FOR IT?" or something like "PLEASE NOTIFY ME IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE THIS AWARD". I always demand a reply from them which is a sign of their commitment.
Many a times I run a funny competition like: "The first three repliers of my mail will receive 5 T Credits (or any reward you may wish) from me" and declare the results at Stream Posts.

Always have something positive to say. I also give my folks different ways to contact me; such as email, phone and skype. You'd be surprised how many will use skype and it is fun to talk to people all around the world. If they have a video cam, it's even more fun.

It is Indeed an Important Question , the answer to which can be traced back to our Primary schooling. The PSA and CSA are our Friends but, officially the Pupils. So, Soft and hard (not harsh) selective chosen words need to be used in communication with them at least weekly (for which we get 30 VP), but preferably more frequently through Geneology.And also, through it we can target the more progressive ones to contact the sponsor. Reply to each question . Willingly, get the class in your favor and win their confidence.

Writing to your team should be as natural as writing to anyone else. Every email communication should have a single theme and end with an open ended question. I totally agree that in every email you should say "Thank you." and "How can I best assist you with. . . ?" Yes we all experience 'the sound of the crickets' when we send out regular email but that's part of the key - frequency. Don't send too many emails or you will come over as pushy. If you don't send enough emails, it appears that you are unconcerned or disconnected. You have to find that right length, and frequency that works best for you! Finally, and probably the most important, your subject line has to be something that is going to capture their attention, build on their desires and interest, and demands action now!

You cannot force anyone to answer, nor do I think it is a good idea to use hard words that pushes people to answer. Rather, use pull methods, that encourages people to give you a response. For example, in your mail ask the respondents to give you feedback, even constructive criticism. Aim at getting a dialogue going, this will show your team that they also are valuable, which, in turn, will create a stronger team. Don't be afraid to ask for ideas or advice from your team-members, and always offer to give help and advice to your team as well.

I have learned that if you personally reach out to them with solutions and suggestions that are unique to there needs, they know you are truly trying to mentor them to reach their goals. These emails start a dialogue that build a great relationship. Avoid canned emails. Use the group mailers to get general info out to your team.

Some people will not respond. Don't worry about that. Reach out to them. If they don't respond, move on. Keep recruiting and bringing in fresh leads and spend your time with your ambitious teammates.
