The absolute best place to market SFI is on forums and social networking sites. The reason is because there are a lot, 100s of business forums out there. You can't be a know it all - join a business forum to learn from other business minded individuals. Build a rapport on that forum by giving good feedback based on your experience. Then you can include in your signature line a back link to your affiliate link. As with any time of advertising, you must track it and measure its overall effectiveness. Search engines rate these types of interactions high because of the quality of the varied content and links. On the social networks that have a business component like FaceBook you have a large pool of marketers to tap into. Create a fan page about your business and connect with like minded individuals and watch the sign-ups start pouring in! It's all about making the right connections.

By experience I believe family and friends are the worst set of people to advertize your business to. They're only be interested if you're successful. Strangers are more likely to take you seriously.
In your local area mainly it is getting over pushed on the internet unless you find places others haven't already done or you do as I do an just do banner adverting.
People will tell you alot of areas but used your head if there telling this or that then there is already over 100 people already been there and done that and your results will be almost zero so look for places that no other SFI person has been to then your get GREAT results. Your going to have pay something to make it to PTL level.
You need 45 EA's plus you upgrade or 60 EA's without you upgrading.

Just about anywhere. It can't hurt. Local colleges, community boards, classified ads. Everywhere I go, I see some business that I could drop off a card or mention of Sfi or Triple Clicks to.
There is no best place when it comes to advertising. It's not where you advertise, but how you adverttise that makes the difference.
Whether you advertise through word of mouth, or through mass e-mail, you have just about the same chance of getting signups and making sales.
The best way to advertise, however, is not really advertising at all. It's all about your own contact lists and building them first, then you have people who trust you who will be interested in what you're doing enough to come to you and ask you for help.
Be a friend first, then you'll have friends who will be more than happy to look at what you're doing and may even want to sign up because you've proven yourself and shown them that you only have their best interest at heart.

the best place to market is whereever you go on a regular basis including laundromat, gracery store, a public bulletin board at worh and including the numerous websites you can find, (some free).
I am having great success with Twitter. :) Focus on building your Twitter account/getting followers in your niche, by following others in the make money online/home based business niche/network marketing niche. Once they follow back you'll have a list of targeted people. :)
