Where is the best place to market SFI?

Just about anywhere. It can't hurt. Local colleges, community boards, classified ads. Everywhere I go, I see some business that I could drop off a card or mention of Sfi or Triple Clicks to.
Do you need to have your own website (if so, why) or are the Gateway websites provided by SFI adequate?

Having your own website not only gives you another avenue to market Sfi but an avenue to market yourself as a person. It lets people know you are a real person, a place where they can get to know you better and what you are about. I also think it is good to know how to build your own website and it is easier than it used to be.
How can I find good sites for free or low-cost classified ads?

Your local newspaper online might have free ad posting. Craigslist is good, Ebay has free classified, and I was just introduced to usfreads.com, which looks promising.
