First and foremost, a photo is a representation of you in your absence, so you can imagine what people will say if they see a bad or a good photo of you. its very important to have a good photo for your SFI account because that is the first thing your affiliate will see as soon as they complete signing into SFI.

Secondly, your photo tells people a lot about you, for example; if you have a photo with a sad face or a gloomy face, it will be very easy for your affiliates to conclude that you are not welcoming, you are depressed and probably don't even love the SFI business and they might not feel comfortable contacting you for any support. But if you wear a smile on your face, it tells completely the opposite about you and will give your affiliate the impression that there sponsor is a nice person and will be more than happy to support them.

What makes a good photo for a business like SFI include the following:

1) A smile is the most important ingredient of any good photo, because a smile makes you look attractive, beautiful, welcoming and makes you look always happy.

2) The cloths you wear for a particular kind of photo is very important, imagine SFI as a bank wear you work or any financial organization that receives thousands of people every day, even though its not but your picture should give new members that impression. i think a corporate dressing will be nice.

3) The background of a photo has a way of making it look very attractive, so choosing a good and a nice background make you photo very good.

It shows that you're a real person committed to SFI business and with nothing to hide. Being anonymous by hiding under faceless avatars is not good for your SFI business as people will start to think that there is something you are trying to hide from them.

A good professional photo is good as it shows you are what you claim to be - professional. Have a photo which shows your face clearly especially one that shows your eyes. People love eye-contact. Also be warm and pleasant looking in the photo but not over-enthusiastic. Decent dressing and grooming is a plus too.

Of course for some people, it is scary to put their photo online. There is a measure of being vulnerable here by letting people know who you really are. But the benefits of having your photo far outweigh this genuine discomfort.

Having your photo also means that your team members can at least "see you" especially if they cannot phone you. That physical contact through your photo is great for building your SFI team.

Hi Anastasia,

Yes, it is important to have a good SFI account photo because we are doing our business online, a good account photo shows that we are a real person and serious doing our busines. Eventually we establish credibility when someone sees our SFI account.

If you are a familiar of photos that we are seen in ID's or passports. I think that's the criteria you should consider when you put your SFI account photo.
