First of all, in communicating, find out the native language your team members is fluent in and when sending emails and messages to them, send them in both English and their native language. You can use Google Translate for this purpose.
In your email, ask the team member how he/she would like to communicate. Ask them if they are comfortable with English or whether they would like you to continue to translate your messages to them.
That’s a start. Now if you are not good at drafting

Communication skill is not a very large factor to become a good sponsor. SFI provides so many tools by which you can make and improve your skills for communication

Welcome Letter to your PSAs & CSAs

There are so many sample welcome letter in SFI tools – choose one – make some addition, alternation, if necessary – put your name, designation (Sponsor/Co-Sponsor/Team Leader). Now save the final draft in a Word file carefully. So you needn’t make it again and again.

After joining SFI and learned enough to start enrolling new affiliates my first concern was, how am I going to be able to give support to my new affiliates? I know my communication shills are not that impressive. I spell and miss-use words so bad that even my computer can’t figure out what I am trying to say.

What has been amazing to me is that my communication skill level did not matter at all. What really matters is that I was willing to find the necessary information

Hi Laura,

I think it is less about what you are saying and more about the fact that you are reaching out to your affiliates. That you are taking a personal interest I believe will come across loud and clear. I do not think that eloquence or the ability to articulate well through words is the major concern but more the action of taking the time to make it personal to your team. A little personal touch can go a long way!

Because SFI is an international company we may experience

Hi Laura,

I can see you're an English speaker, so I presume language is not the difficulty.

Communication skills don't feel natural to some people, but luckily are probably one of the simplest skills to develop. The way to develop them is to practice. Most of all, know your subject yourself, with knowledge comes confidence that you know what you want to communicate.

Then there are lots of different ways to communicate. Learn about and practice each one.

Hi Laura, the art of communication is a skill and can be learnt, so don't let this
take you out of business. I recommend communication skill training for you.
However, before you get the necessary training, communicate with your team members
the way you can express yourself. The idea you are passing across is what is important.
The power of duplication is great in network marketing is great that you cannot allow it to slip away,
and with deliberate effort on your side

You are showing leadership skills through this question you posted. Leadership is modeling on-going learning and use what you learn and share with others.

Attitude of openness is a great attribute of a leader. Remember the great leaders in the past - many did not have great written skills but had other skills such as a positive attitude, collaboration, believed in others and cheered others on to achieve their goals.

Sponsor work is based on being present for others and being

Even though I am not having good communication skills, it is not a good excuse for not supporting my affiliates. First I must be ready to learn and practice the art of good communications- the skills have to be learned by reading and practicing and through good communicators if I want my business to be successful.

A good communicator, like a public speaker, is not born with the skills but learning and practicing the skills over and over again., may be through failures and continuous improvement.

First off, I can almost guarantee you that most of us didn't have very good communication skills when we joined SFI.

The great thing about SFI is that it doesn't matter. This is an on-line company. You start out by advertising on the web, joining SFI's Co-op program, purchasing PSA's To Go, and bidding on auctions. While you are doing this, you read, read read. While you are reading you learn all you can about your business and how it operates. The more you learn, the more confidence

If one can identify the root of the problem, one has already won part of the battle and the rest of the battle is fixing the problem.

Effective communication is part and parcel of successful leadership as it is not enough to have great ideas, which cannot be shared. So your first step should be to identify what is holding you back from effectively passing on your ideas. For example is it language or lack of communication resources? With respect to the sponsor-affiliate relationship, SFI
