Spam by definition is any unsolicited or undesired communication. So it is not necessary solicitations sent by email. The solicitation could actually not be considered spam if received with good will. For example, many internet marketers just reverse market to people who send them information about other business opportunities.

However in home business forums, you would do best to bring value to the conversation at the forum. You have to differentiate yourself from the typical

Olusola;

That is a very good question and I suspect that many affiliates here will be eager to read some good answers. I sincerely hope my response here fits into that category of 'Helpful'

The most important thing to remember is that anything on topic and relevant is never spam. If you participate respectfully in the conversations and ask pertinent questions then nobody can accuse you of spamming. Now on to the crux of your question which is how to get prospective members

Great question. First I will use face book as my example.
I do not mention SFI instead I talk about my daily participation and rewards.
I give facts about how I work from home generating a real income.
I talk about my sales funnel I use for promoting SFI.
I talk about how dangerous the internet can be for newbies, that there are so many scams online.
I talk about how I avoid scams by sticking with the original affiliate programs.
I talk about my teams progress and interesting

Obviously, the best possible way is to get them interested in what YOU have to say, whether that is in the form of a blog or your personal website that creates interest in things you may have such astips and advice on some subject not directly related to SFI.

When they understand that you are offering something of GENUINE value, they will be much more receptive of (and willing to listen to) your SFI invitation. In other words, you cannot simply set up a blog, post 1 or 2 comments you may

You can get other members interested by participating in the forums and gaining the trust of the others who are on the same forums.

This can be done by making entries at least daily discussing subjects that are interesting to you - don't just make comments in order to bring up SFI, people will see right through that.

Once you have become a regular you can make statements that help solve problems and integrate SFI. For instance if you are involved in a discussion about the high

There was a recent post in the forum that I read that distinguished between prospecting and Soliciting. In such forums as you mention here it is soliciting that is equated with spamming. Everyone is involved in these forums to prospect.

I do three major things in this area of prospecting:

1. I try to build rapport. I ask questions and see who responds. I begin a conversation with that person and eventually it leads to exposure to my SFI business. But that exposure is now a

No matter what forum you are visiting, by providing good answers and being helpful to other forum members, people will take an interest in you. All you need to do is have a good bio with your SFI or personal site link in it. Most forums will provide a suitable place for you link.
