You have to prepare to be just a good mentor not only a promoter. What you get out there most of the time are people who have never done it and they don't have self confidence. You have to bring them up to that level where they will have built self confidence and ready to take off. Once this is done, then the next most important part is to let them have true stories about those who came in to the arena just like them and made it after believing in themselves. Leading by example has always done it, show them from what you have achieved from nowhere. Actually, I had no experience with online business, but, I had the burning desire to do something like that ....so when the opportunity arose I took hold of it and ran with it.

What I am trying to say is, that experience is not necessary - only the will to build a business; the readiness to learn and spend time teaching yourself. So look for people who want to so something with their lives and are ready to do what it takes. These are the people to promote SFI too...with others you are wasting your time. )

2. Set priority of what to discuss in the meeting.
3. Remove anxiety, just do it; put on boldness and get out there for the meeting.
4. Smile and be friendly; a friendly smile tells the other person you have no threatening intention.
5. Eye to eye contact is essential, look at that person directly in the eyes.
6. Greet and seek first to listen; it will help you to achieve a safe starting point for your conversation.
7. Focus on the other person, asking interesting things about them gives you a good image before them.

I, personally, have no experience with online business’s until I joined SFI 4 months prior.

I feel that the Launchpad lessons, SFI basics and the Internet Income course were very helpful. Many a times, I have contacted my Upline with questions on how to advertise my gateways to produce sign-ups.

So, in short, I would suggest to let your prospects know that there is an abundance of training material and helpful leadership. Also, give your prospects an overview of how you maintain your business in all aspects.
