I would ask such a person if they want to become an entrepreneur in a business where all training is provided for free. I would explain that they would have to become familiar with how online business works, and to focus on reading the training materials, and only take one point at a time, only moving on to the next point after they feel they have a good understanding of the first point, so as to not get all of the information jumbled up together. Everyone that is in this business got their start somewhere, and SFI is the best place to learn online business, offering the best training available anywhere on the web.

How could I use my own or other's garage sales to grow my SFI or TripleClicks business?
I would order both X-Cards and ECA postcards first. After they arrive, host your own garage sale and place the X-Cards on the tables neatly, and more at the checkout table. Offer them freely and answer all questions that you may be asked.
With the ECA postcards, I would visit other people's garage sales, and offer one to each host, telling them it would be a great way to sell whatever things they have left after their garage sale has ended. Again, answer any and all questions. Make sure you understand everything about TripleClicks and the ECA program beforehand so all questions can be answered satisfactorily.
