I encourage you to look at SFI as not just needing on-line skills but really consider all the skills required to own a business with SFI.

The inventory of skills needed, as you list them, will not just be on-line skills but will also include other skills such as but not limited to clear communication, creativity for marketing and advertising, networking, records keeping, reading and so on.

If a prospect believes that he or she can't be part of SFI due to no experience with on-line businesses, don't let that be a deterrent.

Focus on what they are good at and how those skills can be used in business.

SFI is so much more than on-line experience.

While on a tropical vacation, I tried to talk my wife into trying scuba diving but she flatly refused. So I joined some scuba charters by myself. I started socializing in the evening with the scuba divers I was spending my days with and my wife joined me for that - but she felt somewhat left out of the conversation that was mostly about scuba diving. Within a few days my wife had done a complete 180 turnabout and now she WANTED to scuba dive too.

The above paragraph has nothing to do with the question asked and yet it has everything to do with it too. The VERY best way to promote SFI is actually to let SFI promote itself. Scuba really promoted itself to my wife when I couldn't talk her into it.

So how do set up that scenario where SFI can shine for you? That is the more relevant question.

Let's slightly modify the wording of your question here "...who have no experience with online business - YET?" Understand that they don't have experience - YET - because nothing has yet drawn them into wanting to gain the experience. Allow your prospect the opportunity to see what you are doing and let your infectious pleasure at how SFI is fulfilling your dreams be the lure.

That should be all it takes because the SFI program is a much better salesman than you or I will ever be. :-)

I totally agree that having no online business experience is a setback for sponsors wishing to expand their downline base. However I have certain ideas that could help make these people potential SFI affiliates despite their lack of experience.
1) As a good sponsor, you could carry out a seminar for your potential PSA. It should be a well organised seminar, not necessarily a world-class one, could be in your yard, or in a facebook group, whatsapp group or even on a bbm channel. Reach out to them, and conduct a little theoretical training for them that could help them get started ASAP
2) Persuade them to sign up and refer them to SFI training centre. Most people are fast learners and would learn a lot about SFI in days from SFI training centre. Do this regularly in order for it to become part of the recruitment process, it further ensures the quality of your potential customer
3) You can collect their emails and send them various E-books via their mails for them to read and harness their interest and gain more experience till their fully ready to register as an SFI affiliate.

A marketing specialist was sent to a developing country to assess the market potential for a shoe company. The report he delivered was that there was no market - nobody wore shoes.

Another marketing specialist was sent to replace him. The second report said there was unlimited potential, because nobody wore shoes yet!

Its all in your perception of the situation.

People with no experience with online marketing are ideal candidates for SFI!

You have the opportunity to guide them through some excellent free training, and help them learn good habits, rather than hoping they can 'un-learn' any bad habits or prejudices they may have picked up in prior attempts.

If we do not constantly introduce new online marketers to the business, the growth of the industry will stagnate, and the future potential of your business will suffer as a result.

When promoting to newcomers, focus on the fact that you will guide them along the way. They must know they have someone they can turn to when needed, and that is your job, as their sponsor. Newcomers may require a bit more work on your part than seasoned veterans, but the effort you put in will reap dividends.

SFI business is very simple.

All it requires to grow and succeed here is keen interest to study and learn the SFI Basics, Launch Pad Lessons, etc combined with smart work on a day to day basis.

Patience, Perseverance and Duplication are key factors that determine one's growth & success. If one understands SFI Rules of Success and work towards them consistently success will come naturally.

You should then show them step by step how they are going to enroll and what they will have to do everyday.

Then, you have to keep tract, follow them and keep them on rail on a daily basis until they understand the process.

Co-op Manager and placing new, active PSAs in them so they get signups quickly so they are encouraged to further engage in building their business and make a stronger commitment.

Don't over complicate anything about SFI. Let your prospects know that you will walk them through each phase that they must go through. Give them your personal phone# and email so that they can reach you anytime. Everyone feels reassured when they have someone that can mentor them through the process.

11 free daily VPs are the ones to focus on. Because if you miss them, then they're gone and never coming back. The weekly ones, you have 7 days to collect them so you have some time. And the ones for the Team Leader Actions are for long term.

If the prospects are interested but have no experience with online business, this is what I suggest.

First of all, I will tell them that having no online business experience is not a problem with SFI, because everything he/she needs to know to work the business is all set up by SFI already, we just need to learn, follow instructions and get the work done.

I will also mention too, that the training is free.

I will let them know that if they do join up as an Affiliate, they would be joining my team and I will be there to help them to learn and grow their business.
Apart from myself and training materials, there is the Forum, ASK SC, a2a and Support Desk available for help.

I might be crazy but I think those are the best prospects you can recruit. Why would I make such a statement?

Imagine you have a construction company about to build a bridge. You have to employ people to work for you. You have 2 prospects. The 1st one never built a bridge in his life and he is eager to learn. The 2nd one worked for another construction company (not a very good one). He thinks he knows everything and wants to do things the way he did at the previous company but the problem is he did not only get experience, he also learned all their bad habits and shortcuts that you do not use. Who are you going to employ? I will definitely employ the guy with no experience because he is like a clean slate and you can teach him the right way right from the start.

Can you see where I am going with this? Your inexperienced affiliate will take advise, absorb things like a sponge. Yes, it does mean that you have to take it step by step and teach them to do the things he needs to do - but wouldn't that be a good investment in the long term? You do not need to break down or fight against set ways that is not in line with the way SFI does things (like the policy against spamming)

Firstly I want to say that I never knew about any online business before when I came to know about SFI.
It just happened I received an e-mail and who sent it I didn't notice and don't remember. Even to this day.

Your prospect don't need to be experienced in any online business. Here in SFI most things about online business are learnt through training and as we continue working. Everyday we learn new things and even many things are revised and reviewed.

Your prospects are prospects who are looking and searching for some good business even if they are not looking for one or maybe they never know that such online business exists (like in my case) you as an affiliate can introduce SFI to them.

They don't have to have an experience they need to love reading and learning and doing their task at SFI and they will get experienced here at SFI.
