Thanks for this question.

Before approaching prospective ECAs in any country, one should be thorough with the following:

1. List of Products permitted by TripleClicks (TC);
2. List of Products not permitted by TC;
3. List of Countries - where you want to look for ECAs;
4. Whether the Products permitted by TC are allowable for export to other countries
by those countries;
5. The Currency status of those countries - Moving Up or Down normally

Question:
"Should the way you approach prospective ECAs vary by country/region?"

Since we do have certain customs that will vary in different regions, yes, we do need to be aware of these diversities when approaching new ECAs abroad.

From my own experiences there are certain holidays and celebrations that are not recognized by everyone, and will vary from country to country. We must also be aware of customs and celebrations that are recognized or honored.

In SFI you can recruit vendors (ECAs) and you get a commission on everything they sell. If you have not recruited any new merchants to the TripleClicks shopping portal you really should. It is a fabulous means of passive income.

I think each ECA is similar and unique. Consequently we have many common skills in approaching them and many unique approaches as well. For the commonalities we need to really know the ECA program and what it takes to get started.

For the uniqueness

Certainly if you are prospecting for ECAs there are various methods you use like letters, emails, face-to-face, advertisement etc, combined with other SFI materials and texts we are expected to use when approaching ECAs. These have been provided for global use and not specific to any geographic location.

However, you may decide not to go global but within your sphere of influence and knowledge which can include you country or region, but may not necessarily be limited to your country or

No. Selling is selling and no matter where you are, you have to sell to a targeted market. While there are some different factors for exporters/importers to consider, in the end, the presentation for an ECA in Africa need not be different for an ECA in America. Some people are mistaken to think that just because you are in America you can get automatic success in business. This is not true. Just like it is not true that you can't have a successful business in Africa. The principle of selling

The only time you would need to change your approach wound be when you have knowledge about some restrictions that would place limitations on a prospective ECA business. Other than that you should have free reign to approach prospective ECAs anywhere in most countries and regions.

Once your prospect has decided to become an ECA it is their responsibility to follow through with all their state, regions or counties regulations on acquiring all the necessary sales tax licencing/permits and

When sharing information about the ECA program it should not make a difference with your approach in different countries or regions. The ECA system is the same no matter where in the world it is set up.

The only thing that will change would be the product line, shipping cost and the method in which customers would pay for their purchases.

It would be a good idea when prospecting for ECAs in Canada, UK and South America and other European countries is to also

Hi Ashok,

I don't believe there are any differences on how to approach prospective ECAs in any country. Whether it is a store owner or a person wanting to make extra income, I believe this is a dream of every person in all countries.

My suggestion is that you read the training "ECA Training Guide" at:

This will answer all your questions and giving all the strategies you need as:

Of course you should approach prospective ECAs, and for that matter prospective Affiliates, differently according to their country or region.

Every country and every region have their own customs and idiosyncrasies. Approaching an ECA in one way in one country may be totally unacceptable in another, where a different approach is needed. It may be in the way one dresses, speech tonality, casually or formally, or whether sexual equality is practiced in that country. It may be nationality
