Another effective way of putting the X cards to good use is by giving it out to young people, like Campus students. this can be archived by leaving it a meeting center for students to find like in strategic place in the Library, Lecture Halls and Reception desk of the Hostels, this you have to do with the permission of the Receptionist so that they will not throw them away, thinking that they are for financial solicitations.

XCards are a great way to promote your Tripleclicks store. They can be left anywhere and everywhere. You can even go for a walk and leave them on windshields. Hang some up on bulletin boards at grocery stores. Leave them at the library on tables or in books. Put them in all outgoing mail. The possiblities are endless just use your imagination and be creative. The more creative the better the chances someone will pick it up and go to your store.
I think the best use of Wave3 X-cards is giving it to a frends, with a little explanation what it is actually, and what are benefits from joining Wave3. Although you could give it to a tottal strangers too, but I think that friend might understand better what are you talking about than a stranger, couse he/she knows you, and you will be more comfortable with a friend.
Besides that, you could left it in a taxi, bus, train, or anywhere, and just hope that someone would pick it up and sign up with your ID! But I think in that case, many would just explore what it is, and then if they interested in it, they would sign up, but I am not sure if they use your ID after some researching...
So giving it in person is best idea, couse you could point out importance of your ID.
