The most effective way to earn MRP's is to participate in auctions with 2xMRP for 1 bid. At such way you will earn 10 MRP for 1 TCredit.
I think that the best use for the MRP that you earn is to buy Tcredits and to compensate those TCredits that you used in auctions.
Namely, you can buy 1 TCredit with 126 MRP, and also get 102 VP.
If you buy 10 TCredits with 1260 MRP's, you will get 1020 VP's.
Therefore, there is only 480 VP's left for EA status, which you can easy gain through your daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
It boils down to this: you should use your MRP as you see fit.
You will receive suggestions to buy TCredits, products, etc. First you must decide what it is you hope to gain from the accumulation of your MRP. Do you want to be able to buy products to resell? Do you want to buy products for yourself or family? Do you want or need to promote SFI/TripleClicks more to increase your business profits?

I suggest you to continue earning MRP until you have a considerable amount to exchange them or buy something useful like TCredits or even a S-Builder share.
For example, you can buy a 50 Pack of TCredits for 4700 MRP. It can be very useful if you are in the middle of a Pricebenders auction and run out of TCredits, You can quickly purchase more TCredits to continue in the auction.
The Best use for the MRP is for buying single t credits. For 126 MRP you get one t credit and 102 sales versa points. I normally use this way. However you may also buy other things from tripleclicks of your choice and the information is given on how many you require for the product and even here u earn some sales versa points.

The best use of MRPs is purchasing TC Direct products. Because with that you get to earn SVP which will help you advance to the next level. I think among all those products, the single TCredits gives the maximum returns. You can purchase it with 126MRPs and you will get 102 VPs in return. Isn't that great?!
When I'm not in need of points, I sometimes purchase products from other ECAs with MRP. These are usually things I personally need.

If you are in need of VP's then I would suggest bidding Double MRP auctions to obtain lot of MRP's and then buy Tcredits again with the MRP's you have earned.. This will give you MORE Sales VP's and you have Tcredits to do the same again..
