If you gave a TC out without getting their contact details, there is a good chance that it won't get to be used. SO to make sure your TC will be used try to get the contact details of the person whom you gave it to.
If you noticed from your TC tracking that they haven't used the TC yet give them a message, remind them or if you see them personally talk them into using it.
Relate to the people whom you gave the TC to, that you are giving them an opportunity. That way they'll be interested in checking it out.

I can give people an envelope with money in there but I cannot force them to open the envelope..
The sad thing about THAT is nobody gets any money and you LOOSE money..
The good thing about the TC Gift cards is that is they are not "redeemed" the amounth will not be subtracted from your account..
So next Birthday's,.. Weddings,.. Business Party's,.. Social events and so on no more giving an envelope with money but envelopes with TC Gift Cards ;)
Now isn't that a great gift that keeps on giving then ?? hahhaha

Given the experience of others (which proved to be the most useful), you should make a campaign via blog / site. Everyone, who logs on to your site / blogs, should enter her / his email address to receive information that you post on your website. As a reward for this, you send him the code from card and also receive PRM, if the code used. The email address should be your way to keep track of utilization of codes.

Well, for start - be sure you give it to people you know or work with for some time. Do not give it to a strangers you don't know how serious they are. Also, give it to those who need it for reaching leaders position or those who work hard.
If you made a mistake and send it to someone who is not serious in business all you can do is to push him/her to use it by sending sfi messages, e-mails and, if you know them - call them.
this is all you can do.
Don’t expect everyone to redeem their gift cards. However you can minimise waste by getting the email addresses of the people whom you gave the cards and remind them if they have not used their gift cards. You can check on your tracker report to see if the card has been redeemed.
If you are sending out digital gift cards by advertising on classifieds, social media etc. then you really have no control about the redemption.
This may come as a shock, but given how many cards I send out, I don't worry about the gift cards being used. Some people just need to wait until the right time, others have no idea how to use them--despite me explaining!--and if they don't use them, I tell them they can always pass them on. I never nag and remind people because it tends to get taken the wrong way. Once they're out in circulation, I just plain wait... "Out of sight, out of mind." I have too much else to do.

I will say by not handing the gift cards out like candy during Halloween.
Be selective - hand them out to people you know is interested and that chances are very good that they will use them and join SFI and work as hard as you do.
In my opinion handing them out should not be as common as coupons you cut out of a newspaper or magazine. People should realize you are giving them a gift - they will appreciate it more.
Their is no way to predict who is going to use the cards and who is not! I handed out 50 cards at my family reunion last month, and everyone said they would use them. To date none of them have. I passed out 50 the month before at a flea markets and I had 20 of them get used. So there is no way to predict who will use the gift cards and who won't. So good luck on finding a way to predict the future! If you find one let us all know!
