What makes me persevere with SFI and not quit?

Attending to my SFI powered business everyday is pure joy. A better question might be how much would it cost you to get me to NOT "persevere" with it?

Well O.K., Teresa, I will give you the courtesy of taking your question seriously.

When I first started, I held my breath so-to-speak, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Really? They don't want me to buy into some thing that's going to squeeze me dry like all those other so-called internet businesses? By the time I realized I was not going to make Fast Track for my first 24 hours, I also realized that what I was learning and receiving was actually far more valuable than anything else I had learned or received from any other online opportunity before.

Then when I realised I could actually make real money along with having fun, well it was just a no-brainer.

I've stopped waiting for that other shoe to drop because I know it never will!

SFI is so complicated especially for a Starter but if you can read you wont have problem. There is a saying that says a reader is a leader. The second month i joined SFI was when SFI asked us to verify our account everytime we tried logging in. So i always try to log in but all my efforts was abortive. I abandoned SFI for a whole month without trying to log in for once. Later in March i was determined to get pass the your account is not verified. But thank God it was successful at last. My sponsor sent me 10 tcredits which i used to play time machine game and i won 164 tcredits that was when the motivation started coming with the 164 tcredits i became an EA2. Then i played another game but i didnt win, then i played the Godzilla game and i also won 414 tcredits. 414 tcredits was so much for me on the same day i used some to bid for the first time and i won 300 tcredits twice. So all these made me to persevere with SFI and not quit. But to say the truth i just wish to give up sometimes but something new will come up again. I also play the Worldcup game more than 38 times but i didnt win, i was down,till now i didnt check the names of the winners cos i kept checking my tconnect page may be i will see 500 tcredits but i didnt see any. But i wont give up i will continue to persevere and i will surely make it with SFI.

A basic aversion to quitting!! I am a positive-thinking person, and I hate to quit anything I have started!

I started off a little slow, was mostly unable to access my computer between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so mostly started over on the VersaPoints Streak. It has become important to me to make the 365 badge to make a point to myself. And also to be able to tell others "...if I can, trust me, SO CAN YOU!!".

I have a small team, only a few of my CSAs are active (boy!! are they ever!!) out of all members:(( I really want to create an active team of PSAs, so I plan to use some of the local flyer - posting suggestions I've read about to gain some members that will hopefully be/stay active!!

That's my idea, and I plan to stick to it!!:))

I think everyone has a different anchor that keeps him here

Yes we all need extra money and this is probably the main reason we persevere.
But I believe that many of us recognize other values that this job offers.

I work 15 hours,15 days a month and sometimes more,and I really have no more power.
I have not paid enough and do not have time for myself and my family.

With SFI i can work when I want.
Half an hour in the morning, an hour after lunch, two after midnight when I can not sleep,or however i want,and all day long spend with my daughter.

This job is stress free.

And yes,i meet people who earn a lot in here,and i know i can do the same.
All i need to succeed is learn and persevere.

One more reason for me,my country has a high unemployment rate but nobody in my environment does not believe in online earnings.
When i talk to them they use old phrase "no shovels, no money".

My achievements are the best proof,and I know it takes time but they will regret that they did not believe.

This is the kind of challenge for me,because i have no experience in this field.
My English is not too good,I used computer to play games,no IT skills.

Some people are persistent in nature,some people need some extra motivation.

It is important that you know what you want,and go for it.Just think about your goals.


The will to persevere is often the difference between failure and success.

To be honest, when I joined SFI, I had recently been terminated from a very stressful job on which I worked for 24 years. I was over 50, and in my senior year of college. I wanted to try an online business where I was my own boss, and did not require quotas to be filled etc. In short, I wanted a stress less, fun –filled environment that did not require a lot of extra expenses. Everything I was looking for was what SFI had to offer. As I heard it was free, I kept thinking, ’you get what you pay for or In SFI case what you do not pay for’. At some point SFI was going to ask me for my credit or debit card numbers. There is going to be a ‘Gotcha” at the end of all my clicking and earning VersaPoints. Whenever I reached the point ok now I am taking this as more of a hobby than a real business, I would get a message stating that I just received new affiliate(s) or I would win TCredits or the some other prize in the Daily Grand drawing.
I know my success depends on me and not on SFI because they have given us all the tools and resources to be successful.
To sum it all up, for me, SFI is what the doctor recommends for a stress free work environment; a way to be educated for free; a place to communicate with others globally about a common denominator; a way to make money without having to hire a team of lawyers, accountants etc. (SFI keeps all records); no inventories etc., and the list goes on and on. I am having too much fun, and I am going to have to get serious so I can make some serious money(<>).
I wish you continued success in SFI. Do not give up!

Is-it perseverance that brings back you daily to SFI, as if you are making an effort?

For me, it is the positive feeling: the enjoyment of being part of SFI.

There are three reasons for my enjoyment.

1. The friendships I have built

2. The income I am making

3. SFI is part of my overall plan to build lasting wealth

I. SFI is a network of friends
I have been with SFI for over 7 months now. I have built a network of over 1570 a2a Friends with most of whom I interact on a regular basis.
a. I enjoy seeing them win at the Daily Grand and sending them e-cards to congratulate them on their wins.
Yesterday I won myself and I got my email box filled with messages and e-cards from those same friends sending me congratulations. I love to reply to those messages.
b. I enjoy reading the Ask SC questions and answers, and reply to some myself. It happens that from time to time I get a first place, a second place or a 3rd-10th answer and the actions VP that come with it.
c. I enjoy seeing new affiliate join on a daily basis and connect with some of them through a2a. This is a great opportunity for building a network of friends around the world
d. I enjoy reading the Forum posts, see how people react to problems they are facing and how other come to help them find the solutions.
e. I enjoy seeing people play the Eager Zebra game and win. The same goes for the pricebenders auctions.

These are some of the reasons I log daily with anticipation about what is happening within SFI, any given day.

II. Making Money with SFI.
Yes, it is true that it starts slowly. However, I have made money my first month. On my
second month, I had earnings more than enough to pay for my Standing Order. This tells me that it is possible to make money and I know it works. It is very possible relatively quickly,to build a stream of income with a positive cash-flow: when what you earn with SFI is greater that what you spend for running the business. When you reach that level, you will no longer look at logging here as perseverance, but as growing a profitable business. That requires work and positive thinking.

III. SFI is a Tool for Building Lasting Wealth.
From the above, you can expand your mind and see the full potential of what SFI offers.
Building your team to the full extent of seizing and growing all the income streams within SFI: this is vision you need to develop and have a mindset that see what you can achieve within SFI and with SFI.

I am not saying that everything is perfect. There are many areas where improvements are needed. But you cannot be an instrument or part of those improvements if you were to guit.

I truly wish you the best of luck to have the mindset of being highly successful with SFI.

What makes me persevere? Three things.

First, I joined SFI to secure a comfortable retirement. Being self-employed for most of the last 25 years, I do not have a company pension to rely on, and I have no desire to rely on the state pension available in my country. In SFI, I saw an opportunity to build a residual income that would not stop coming in when I slow down. That goal has not changed.

Secondly, if you open a 'bricks and mortar' business, you need to invest a lot of time and money getting things right. Yet most businesses like that take 2-3 years before they show a profit (assuming the business survives that long, and 50% of them don't). If you give up (or the bank shuts you down) before you reach that milestone, every penny and every minute you have invested is gone forever. SFI and TripleClicks between them can put you in profit a lot faster than that, and don't require a huge financial investment up front. That means you don't have to persevere for as long before you see a return on your time investment.

Thirdly, and perhaps more importantly, I believe that if you are going to try something, you need to give yourself a reasonable chance to succeed before walking away. If not, why even start? Nobody who decides to run a marathon lines up at the start saying to themselves 'I think I will try this for a couple of miles and see how I feel about it then'!

I have many motivators that keep me strong in SFI. The first and most important is my family. I want to be able to provide my children with the best of everything. I want to show them that I can succeed at a lifetime dream of owning my own business and working from home. I want to set an example for my daughters that with perseverance, hard work and persistence, you can accomplish any goal that you set. It is important for me to prove to not only my family, but to myself that I can do this and become successful.

Another motivator for me is freedom. The freedom to be able to set my own hours, days, times that I want to work is phenomenal. In SFI I have the opportunity to work at 3 am if I choose to do so. What other job/business do you have this type of freedom?

What a great question!

For me it was deciding that my life HAS to change, therefore I HAVE to change what I do.

I read lots of motivational, positive advice and 3 pieces were beginning to stand out at the time I joined SFI:

1. If you always do what you always did, you always get what you always got.

2. It takes 30 days to break a habit and make a new one

3. If you'd started a year ago, where would you be now?

I keep these in mind. Sure enough, the first 30 days felt like a chore, now SFI is a joy, almost an addiction. I am beginning to see real results, and feeling more confident.

Reading the inspiring testimonies in the forum is a great help to me. It stops me looking for the 'quick buck', and helps me focus on commitment.

What I really believe makes SFI unique is the forum and A2A friends.

There is no question to small, no concern to petty to ask of these people. The amount of help you can get from these two resources alone is fantastic.

So....what makes me persevere with SFI?

It's not the money (although that's nice and I'm not giving it back).

It's the people.

Plain and simple, without such fantastic people SFI wouldn't be what it is.
