1. I believe you have to write your newsletter with your audience in mind.
a. Do you have new affiliates like yourself? What are some of the questions that you have had to ask your downline for help with?
b. Did you learn any thing new that you think will benefit your team?
c. Did anyone give an inspiring or encouraging post in the Forum, which will be back?
d. Was there any important news that you feel may be helpful to the growth or well-being of your team?
e. Did any of your team members become EA or Team Leader or did anyone win in the PriceBenders auction?
f. Did you find a product in TripleClicks which is either helpful or can be a good Standing Order? Tell them about it and share the link.
g. Did you see a video or quote, non-SFI or not that you think your team will find humorous or maybe find some truth in it for themselves?
2. Share any or all of the answers above in your newsletter.
3. Make it concise and interesting so that all members of your team, new and old can relate to what you are sharing.
4. If you happen to have more experienced network marketers than yourself, do not be afraid to ask for their comments. By doing so you will be engaging the whole group to participate in the learning process, and even to build a strong, successful team.
5. If you want to offer incentives, insert this in your newsletter by defining the terms for meeting qualifications for the incentive.
6. Let your team know you are available to answer any questions they may have. Provide all ways whether email, Skype, social media where you can be reached.
7. Own your newsletter which means you are going to personalize it with your own format, style, stationery etc, but still professional because you want to impress your team as their leader.

Darla, after reading your question,
‘Good communication with our team is vital in SFI, but what if we are not good writers; how do we learn to write well?’
I wonder if you are asking this question because of the inactivity of your PSAs, and/ or CSAs. I know that effective communication expresses your thoughts, ideas, tips etc clearly in order to cause a response more likely positive than negative.
We are assisted by SFI as we have sample letters, ASKSC, and the Forum. We are not graded on the contents of our communication.
• The best kind of communication I feel that will make a difference is being honest with our team.
• Share your good and bad experiences.
• Leading by example is a greater form of communication.
• Answer any question that is asked by your team without using big words to impress but simple words that even a child can follow those instructions.
• Follow up with the team member to make sure they understood your response.

Remember that if someone has another motive for joining SFI other than a desire to work hard and succeed, no form of communication will move them.

I must say that I do think that this is one topic that is shared by a lot of people. It is even harder now as people are less personable, and use technology as a shield to protect them from engaging conversationally with others. A lot of people are skeptical of anything that sounds too good to be true although that is what SFI is.
To improve in this area, you can try:
1. Practice speaking to one or two strangers about the weather or other noncommittal issues, and gage the responses.
2. Increase the amounts of people you speak to daily, weekly or monthly.
3. Once you feel willing to continue this exercise even though you did not get the responses you were looking for, that proves that your confidence is building.
4. Engage in discussions with small groups, and then increase the size of the groups if possible.
5. Enroll in any Public speaking courses offered at any adult learning facility.
6. Dedicate yourself to learning the ins and outs of SFI, TripleClicks, and all programs until you feel confident to sell or promote them.
As a business owner who wants to be successful, going beyond the norm to achieve your goal is a small price to pay.

Thank you for your question because all questions are important .If I understand your question correctly, you are not asking for methods of advertising SFI and TripleClicks both locally or globally, but which is better and why.

The decision to promote both locally will depend on the following:
1. Do you have a lot of confidence and knowledge for sharing the programs at events, meetings, and strangers?
2. Do you have a local support with friends, family, and the community?
3. Do negative responses discourage you from promoting both or, are you able to gain more momentum instead?

The decision to promote both globally via the internet will depend on the following:
1. How confident are you at network marketing?
2. Do you feel confident about the program to sell it to friends and family via the net?
3. Do you feel that your ads (free or paid), whatever kind you choose, is convincing to win total strangers to SFI and TripleClicks?

I will limit the above questions but just to give you an idea of the how I would approach your question. The only way, I think you should limit either locally or globally, if the answers to those questions sway you to one over the other.
If both answers are favorable, do not limit yourself.
There are no statistics that I know of that will give you a definite answer as to which is better as all the answers you will receive are based on each affiliate’s personal view.

I would accept their comments since everyone has a right to their opinion. Just consider that their initial experience might have been overwhelming due to language barriers, information overload, their perception that SFI is a get rich quick scheme etc.
As a Team Leader:
1. Listen, and ask them questions about their negative comments.
2. Identify their objections, and deal with each accordingly explaining the plus side or agree with them
3. Share your good and bad experiences with them and how you overcame any negativity.
4. Let your enthusiasm why you are still in SFI come through in your communication to them.
5. Continue to lead by example.
As you know if anyone makes up their mind not to stay in SFI there is nothing else you can do but continue to send Weekly Newsletter if they have not opted out. Who knows if one day, the light will come on, and they may become active.

When you are convinced that SFI is where you want to invest to build your business then that is the time that you should start building your business. You would not want to disappoint any new affiliates that you their leader quit on them.

I do agree that it would be good to complete your initial training of SFI Basics and the LaunchPad. However, some times you start a project or whatever that peaks your interest and you just know will be good for you. If this is how you feel:

a. Tell friends and family
b. Print flyers and post at libraries, and any public place that allows you to do so.
c. Send ecards to your contacts.

I chose these initial methods that you can perform with basic knowledge of the SFI program.
If any of your new PSAs ask a question that you are not sure how to answer. You are never alone at SFI. You have the assistance of your upline, your Sponsor, your Co-Sponsor, the SFI Forum where experienced affiliates will be happy to help you with any question you may not know how to answer.

Many of us have been here for a longer time, and we still have questions, so you are in good company. Once you are honest with your PSAs to inform them that you will find out the answer yourself and get back to them that is good. Sometimes you can learn faster when you are questioned about anything because you try to learn it so if that question comes up again you will have the answer

2. Free training for every aspect of the business.
3. You are your own boss therefore you set your own hours and determine how much you want to make, no quotas to fill.
4. You have help 24 hours a day through the Support team, ASK SC, the Forum and a2a.
5. You are assigned a Sponsor and Co-Sponsor who are responsible to assist you especially as a new affiliate but they do not dictate how you choose to run your SFI business. You are not alone.

There might have been one of several or multiple reasons why your PSA became inactive. You now have a second chance to win that PSA over. You also have an opportunity to use your leadership skills to help them to become successful in SFI.
In that case, you have to acknowledge that PSA’s return by welcoming them back. Reintroduce yourself as their sponsor, and let them know you care for them as a person by asking them how they are doing. That would let them realize that you are a real person who cares, and this will enable you to know how to lead them.
You can even let them know about your experience with SFI, and explain the simplicity of the SFI business.
Convince them that you will be there for them if they have any questions or comments.
If your budget permits, offer 10 TCredits to play game/ auctions or give a small gift card to encourage their participation.
Lastly, lead by example.

You pay a one-time shipping charge of $1.99.
The Benefits last as long as you are an SFI affiliate, and are unbelievable as follows:
