Within the first 24 hours I will do enough Getting Started Actions to get 500VP to qualify for Fast Track Badge and get 200VP bonus. That gives you 700VP in your first 24 hours. Then I would work out how much VP I would get from doing my Daily, Weekly and Monthly Actions until the end of that first month and just review the Launch Pad Lessons every day and do only enough Getting Started and Intermediate Actions to get the balance of VP needed for EA qualifying 1500VP for the first month.

It’s best to save the rest of the Getting Started and Intermediate Actions, Launch Pad Lessons and Articles to review for your second month to get the necessary EA qualifying 1500VP again, after logging in every day and getting the 497 Action VP for the second month.

In the meantime I will review all the Launch Pad Lessons and other training in SFI over and over again to get to know the system. Learning is of utmost importance. I will learn how the business work, how to market SFI, TripleClicks and TripleClicks products, how to sponsor and duplicate, how to refer ECA’s and PRM’s, how to set up a website and blog and how to maintain the blog, etc.

All this time I will start advertising for Affiliates, ECA’s and PRM’s. After all this business is about duplicating and marketing.

I can tell you this from my own personal experience because i DID start all over again.

Some years ago I registered with SFI as a complete newbie.. That must be like 8 or 9 years ago before i had my kids.
I didn't read at that time but was smart enough to figure out I needed 1500 points every month so I took a SO for IAHBE (then)..
I threw out 3 or 4 gateway-links,.. spammed some chat boxes, got kicked out of several community sites back then because i just didn't KNOW what this was all about and to me MLM, Affiliate, blogging and so on was all new.

Now I am 8 or 9 years ahead and i have no idea how SFI popped into my mind but it did.

So i registered all over again, wrote support about my previous account, learned it was still active but no psa's or csa's or nothing left because it was 8 years old.

Now knowing a little about SFI from back then I took it SERIOUS,.. I read, learned, ask everybody and most important : I BELIEVED in myself.. I really believe us "normal" people can make it and I have the badges nowaday's to proof it.

I would definitely respond to my sponsor and co-sponsor immediately so that I would be better guided by either or both of them. I would not procastinte in wondering whether this was a scam or not so as not to lose precious time.

I would definitely take time to read the material before plunging into the tabs. I did not read the entire information page and therefore I never received the Fast Start bonus. Today, I regret not having had the patience to do so.

I would become an ECA earlier in the process of seting up my goals. The main focus of this business is to maintain your status each month and to look for the most cost effective ways of boosting your income.

I would learn as much as I can from the marketing gurus and build a strong downline and help each affiliate to do the same. I never really recognized how vitally important that strategy is in becoming a successful business person within the SFI family.

When I got into SFI, I did all the work, was excited, never missed a day logging in, etc. And from the first month on, I put in a 1500 vp Standing Order and have never missed it since.

One thing I would have done differently is become involved in the Forum right away

But the big things that I would do need me to change myself first. Oh, yes, that word CHANGE.

1) I still need to advertise everyday in one manner or another.
2) I need to improve my communications with my affiliates (longer/shorter letters; less)more often; one/several subjects).
3) I need to make an effort to become more computer savvy, learn how to blog, have a website.
4) I need to believe in myself. Totally, with no doubts.
5) I need to run with this opportunity and not just keep one step ahead of my PSAs.

Then I would take off at a run, never looking back, but always forward to the prize. Yes, it's not a race, but momentum never hurts.

This is an excellent question!

When I started SFI I took it quite slowly as it seemed complicated with so much reading to do and information to take in and understand. This kind of business was completely new to me and I thought I had to understand everything properly before actually doing the work to grow my business.

So, if I started again now, I would:
1. sign up for Wave3 immediately
2. set up a standing order for TCredits or S-Builder
3. advertise for affiliates to build my team within my first month.

I delayed advertising for about 3 months as I was insecure and believed that I had to be an 'expert' and have lots of experience with SFI before I could bring new people into the business. After all, I wouldn't know how to help them if they didn't understand things and I hadn't got my own "proof of success" to have credibility! I now realise that I could have done this much sooner and consequently started building a team and earning commission earlier.

I also mistakenly thought that the first time I advertised, the affiliates would start rolling in, so I only advertised a few times in my 3rd or 4th month. I would have bought PSA's from Tripleclicks too instead of relying on the free advertising sites for the first few months that I had started doing this.

Success in this business comes from building an active downline which duplicates what you do. However, I didn't know that so many PSA's would go inactive shortly after signing up ... so therefore I would have persisted in advertising on a daily basis to increase the numbers. If you can do that as quickly as possible you are likely to be more motivated to continue ~ you will start to earn commission sooner and you will reach team leader status faster which has its additional rewards.

So ... advertise and build your team as soon as possible! SFI has plenty of resources to help you and you shouldn't be scared to make mistakes if you are new to the business. All successful people had to start at the beginning and probably made mistakes along the way.

I would not miss a single day collecting my points and I would set up my SO from day 1. I would also advertise much more agressively than I have been doing. I would also set up a blog for training my team.

My upline would tell you that I started slow but have gained momentum during the past year.

If I had done all this much earlier, my team would have been bigger. It would also have been more active (hopefully!) because they now have a training blog to refer to instead of learning on their own. I would invest more time in my downline because now I see emails from them requesting more info, asking for help once they know they have a place to turn to.

I started slow, but I'm not going to stop!

Each individual who has joined SFI has something in mind that he/she would like to change if starting all over again. For me I will talk about my experience when I joined over ten years ago.

Over ten years ago, joining SFI is a lot different than today. No SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD lessons. I didn’t understand the full concept of SFI opportunity.

Now that I understood the core concept of SFI, which is Duplication, if I start all over again, I would do the following to attain the potential of being an SFI affiliate:

- Focus on sponsoring affiliates consistently.
This includes learning the training articles on Sponsoring affiliates ranging from Internet income course, online promotion tips, 20 reasons why you need your own website, Ask Gery: Where to advertise for good results and so on.

- Employ effective advertising
Generating leads consistently is an important part of venturing SFI. You need to stay atop, not only to meet your goal of sponsoring certain numbers of affiliates every month but exceed your expectation. Now that SFI provides the Marketing Aids and shows us the Marketing Methods found in Marketing Center, we can start using these tools extensively to our advantage. With careful planning and focused effort I can now promote SFI effectively. It is a strong step toward solid growth and increased market share.

- Establish close relationship with downlines
What is the use of sponsoring hundreds of new affiliates, if you don’t have time or if you have poor communication skills? SFI is an online home based business and you need to start building relationship as soon as you received your new signed ups by giving them a warm welcome. Practice the effective ways of communication if you are to gain trust to your downlines and start building your team.

Understanding this core concept of SFI’s duplication over ten years ago and focus on investing on it, I would be surprised to what extent my SFI business would have grown.

Great question.

I have to say I'm one of the "lucky" ones. I have a terrific sponsor who was leading me step by step and gave me all the neccesary tools to make sure I get the best of SFI.

And that's exactly what I do with my PSAs. I've made tutorials that explain the essential things about SFI business, the importance of being "the fast tracker", how to perform daily actions explaining that further on they're going to be grateful for every point they score, beside the fact that it familiarizes them with SFI center.

To get back to your question, i believe untill now I did things well, so I will tell you the main things you don't want to miss from the very beginning:

*completing getting started actions within 24 hours to make sure you get that 200VP bonus
*calculate (depending which day of the month you sign up) how many points you'll score with daily/weekly/monthly actions by the end of the month, then use the LAUNCHPAD and ONE-TIME-ACTIONS to cover the difference to get to Executive Affiliate status - you leave the rest for the next month, so while you're still finding your way around SFI, you don't have to start spending money just yet - the purpose is to make money, investing as little as we can at first, because you're not experienced enough to spend your money in the smartest way - at least an average person, like me...
*make sure you stay abouve that green line and make it to the finals of E365 contest
*log in EVERY DAY and do your daily actions

That will give you EA2 status in the second month. Now that you've learned, read, studied, you're ready to invest some of your money for your business I'd say TCredits and PSAs to-go are the best option for starters.

Of course, as soon as you're comfortable, start advertising your business, but I'd say it's best if you learn as much as you can before you start doing that, specially being this business about duplication - you'll have to be skilled enough to teach your PSAs to things right.

As a matter of fact, there are several things I would do differently:
1) I would go for FastTrack – I didn’t realize how important it was at first
2) I would NOT collect all available VP in my first month, as I hastily did, because I didn’t know that each month we start from 0
3) I would start advertising and recruiting people much sooner, it took me almost two months to start with that
4) I would invest in 125 TCredits SO right away, but I didn’t want to do that in the beginning until I get assured that SFI works.

Those mistakes seem big to a beginner. However, they turned out not to be a big deal, because everything that followed later compensated for them. This is a long-term business, so even if you make some mistakes they well be brushed away if you stay active and apply the knowledge you gain in the meantime.

Promotions are very important, I would promote in as many as I can free classifieds in my first month, and second month i would make paid add on any social network.
I will encourage my active PSA-s more, and not losing my time on the one that came here on picnic.
When I think about that now, I didn`t miss much, but I were going slow.

No one knows what to do when get into this job. That is normal to be confused and disoriented, but there is always someone who can give you hand and help you at start, if it isn`t your sponsor, there is so many things explained on the SFI that you hardly can do something awfully wrong.

Be patience and stubborn and you will learn it all :)
