If you want to profit from the use of keywords/phrases on the Internet, you will have to be professional about your efforts. When placing ads, professional Webmasters always say that phrases appear to be more effective than just single words. The first thing to do therefore is to identify your competitors or those in the same market niche as yours then research them using Google analytics to find out which keywords/phrases work best for them. From your results, you can then derive your own keywords/phrases

Good question.
This really depends on your Target Market or Niche.
You must first define the specific market you are going to advertise too.
For example: if your advertising efforts are going to individuals who are
out of work you might use "Work at Home".
I believe the most popular is "Work from Home"

There are many others to use:

This is an excellent question, though not such an easy one to answer. Let's look at a few examples:

The key phrase 'earn while you learn' netted a whopping 55 1/2 million results on Google. The phrase 'affiliate business opportunity' still came in a staggering 15 million results. These are examples of what are generally known as short tail keywords, which, as you can see, have a massive amount of competition and thereby are not good picks.

Now let's look at a couple more. The

The best keywords to use in paid advertising are those that attract your ideal prospect. If you want a ton of "free loaders" then put "free" in your ads and you will attract them them flies attracted to a cow patty! But if you want to attract serious minded entrepreneurs, then use words like long-term investment opportunity working from home.

For Adwords you can actually improve your quality score by selecting the type of keywords that you don't want to rank for.

I like your question Leslie because for many of us it is confused which words or sentences to choose and where to use them.
You need to know that new algorithms makes that keywords are becoming less appreciated by search engines than key sentences. What to do then?

First step: use the right tools:

1- Download a software to find the right keywords and phrases to optimize your content and attract Web traffic like A1 Keyword Research on download.com.

2- Go to Google

Well chosen keywords and phrases will ensure that your ad is found by the right people looking for products and services just like yours.
Keywords and phrases should be highly specific and relevant to your business.

Google rewards relevance. So your keywords should tie in directly with your ad copy and your website. When someone types your keywords into Google, they should be looking for a business exactly like yours. As a result, those people that click on your ad will already be

Hi, Leslie!

The magic keyword doesn't exist, because not all people are the same. We aren't all the same and we don't looking for the same.

But when you write an advertisement for a job, I advise you to do a few variations on the same theme:
- extra income, second income,
- earn money, earn money 2014, earn money from home,
- home business, work from home, work from the comfort of home,
- online business, long-term online business, etc.
