I have set up an auto responder. How can I determine if my auto responder is working?

Easy to check,

Just sign up to your auto responder the same way anybody else will do.

You should receive your first email almost right away.

If you set up the first email as 0, all other email should be set to 1, and you should
receive one email daily.

Check all emails you receive to make sure it format properly.

If you set up an auto-responder, the best thing to do is to set up a secondary e-mail address for yourself, and subscribe it to your own mailing list. That way, when your autoresponder sends out messages, you get to see the outbound copy and how it looks. Occasionally some element of formatting gets lost, and this will alert you to that, as well.

Hello Vickie,
The answer is fairly simple. When you opened your Auto Responder account,
you should have been offered a test run using your email address or an
Email address of your choice.
You may wish to include your email address to monitor the mailings,
or set up Special email address for this purpose.

It may be difficult at first to see if auto responder is working.

I never continue when I hit auto responders, because I feel therson at the other end truly has no time for me, and hence I have no time for them.
So I will not likely contact the person.

I think the way to determine if they are working is strictly time and volume.

If you get the response you want in 6 months, then you are happy.

You will know it's working when someone is responding from you ads.

Sometimes you will just amazed when a number of PSAs are coming in your inbox e-mail.

All you have to do is to create an effective concise ads that can attract the readers/viewers to click and respond to your auto responder because even it's working it may not acquire a respondents if it cannot give attraction at all.

Setting Autoresponder i don't think its a good idea, because it may happend some friends everyone of them to read the same thing on your responder and they might be thinking it like SPAM , and might bring you negative benefits in place of getting new sign ups
my best advice is to cancel it and give to everyone different ideas how to work and grow up
but as for your answer i thing if it is Working you may see some sign ups or maybe none
also if its working you may see who has read

Once you have set up your auto responder and placed the form for your visitors on your page you should test the entire process your visitor goes through to subscribe to your list. You do this be becoming the first subscriber to the list and making sure you are happy with the messages it sends out to you.

I'm not very familiar with auto responders, but I would imagine it is working if you get responses to the auto-messages you are sending, and NOT working if you don't!:)

I'm not aware of where you set it up - email, advert? If it is possible, I would suggest using tracker codes so you know from where your responses are coming, unless it's email, of course.

I wish you success with your results, but personally, I'm not too keen on auto-pilots of any kind with SFI or TripleClicks
