You can become a leader at SFI, even if you are not a born leader. It is true that some people are naturally gifted with leadership skills, just like others are gifted with other abilities. However, there is nothing to stop you from becoming a leader at SFI, if you commit yourself to reading and learning all the available training resources. As the word itself says a leader is someone who leads. Now, when you are leading people, it does not necessarily mean that you know everything but you have to know more than the followers and where you do not know, you have to be capable of finding out and directing your followers in the right direction. Two of the most important characteristics that followers will look for in a leader are trust and integrity. Therefore the leader needs to be honest in their dealings with their affiliates. For example, think of “duplication”. It would be unwise to expect your affiliates to follow your words if they do not see the action or results from yourself.
It is important that as SFI team leader, one is kept up to date with latest developments, so that they can always communicate new ideas to their affiliates. In this case, the leader needs to learn how to communicate effectively with their affiliates.
In summary then read, learn, communicate, duplicate and maintain your honesty and integrity.

To be a leader you have to work. Even if you have talent or not, the underlying work performance. You have to really want this. When you have to guide a team, being Along with her, help her evolve. It is not easy, but it can be learned. If you have the skills to be a leader there are many books where you can learn. If you subscribe to IAHBE You do learn a lot. I thought the same thing once and I was on my way to give up.
But then I realized, that if I can put my self into it just a little bit harder, than I can do everything. And I did!
It's simple! As a member you got all these lessons for free! Use that!
No one can help you completely if you're not willing to help your self.

To make a good Team Leader, you must be a good follower. You must learn from your Upline Sponsors. Learn from your co-sponsors, learn from the Top leaders in the organization; those who had put the business together which you are now a part of.
Study the online materials, the training manuals and best tips given by each member of the A2A Membership. All this will help you grow into the Team Leader that you want to be; not only for yourself, but those you recruit into SFI.

Leaders are created, not born as leaders. Circumstances rather than birth determines a person's leadership qualities. It comes from experience specially the bad experiences. A leader knows not just what he must do, but also what he must not do. When things are going downhill, the person who applies the brakes and stabilizes the situation is a leader. He is not born with that skill, he has learnt it along the way. The answer is a bit philosophical ;) but that's how close I could get for an answer.

Once you have Affiliates below you, whether PSAs or CSAs, you are an SFI leader. You can become a strong and successful leader if you have the confidence and knowledge of the organization. Therefore, knowledge is key. These affiliates need to be guided and the best way you can do that is by your example. Begin by defining your goals and helping your team to do the same.
Once you are committed your team members will feel that sense of belongong and be encouraged to do more. Urge them to explore their talents and experiences so that they can contribute to the success of the objectives of the team. That feeling of accomplishment will help to motivate and build enthusiasm.
You should consistently communicate with them so that you can build a climate of trust and respect. Help them to feel a sense of ownership in the ideas that are created/expressed. Remember something special about each team member so that he feels connected and valued. Mention their achievements in your blog/website/Leadership page.
