When some of your downlines abandoned or may have opted out from SFI, be aware of the following points before attempting to contact them:

- Make sure that said affiliates still appear on your Genealogy, that they have been inactive marked with red triangle with an exclamation mark on the center.

- SFI warns that contacting individuals, who no longer appear on your Genealogy after a request has been made to be removed, may be grounds for termination.

This is one of the reasons why SFI is legit, well-rounded and a real home-based business opportunity. By adhering to this rule, SFI carries a true sense of professionalism, which set it apart from other online business opportunities.

How to approach someone, who has abandoned SFI but still appear on your Genealogy to restart again?

- Make use of the E-Card. It always feels good to receive an E-Card and being remembered; you can choose the appropriate one available from the Marketing Aid section.

- Depending on the response, if you can sense that the individual is being receptive, you start updating him/her about what’s new in SFI. You can mention about the facts and figures “SFI by the numbers”

- Your good choice of words plays an important role in convincing them. You can talk about the fun part of doing SFI, like the Zebra games, PTP and your achievements.

- Maintain your regular communication with them. Be patient and don’t push them to comeback, you might drive them away instead.

I think the first thing you have to do is find out why they abandoned SFI as until you know what the problem is you won't be able to offer advice or suggestions on how they should try again.
Business success is all based on the quality of the relationship and people will only follow you as a leader and duplicate what you do if they know, trust and respect you. Get to know your affiliates and chat to them ... find out what difficulties they have and offer ways for them to overcome them.

I have had a few affiliates that were making good progress and then just stopped so I got into conversation with them (you can do this either through the team mail or by email or social media depending on what contact information you have for them). All the affiliates that I managed to get into contact with were appreciative of my concern for them and in most cases the reason they stopped was for personal reasons (getting divorced, moving house, loss of internet connection to name a few!!)

What I left them with was a feeling that they were valued and that I was interested in helping them achieve their goals and I know that when the time is right they will come back in the knowledge that I am a leader who will support them to succeed in SFI.

So, develop the relationship, ask questions, listen to them and know what their goals are! Don't give up on them!

It would depend on how long the affiliate had been involved with SFI.

+ If they were here for a long time and achieving Executive Affiliate and then quit, you would ask them why and try to address the problem. There will be problems that you cannot resolve for the affiliate and that's OK. You can still keep moving on and sponsor some more movers to keep your business profitable.

+ If the affiliate is new and hardly takes any action or none at all, keep in contact through team mails. They may return when something in your email makes a 'click' in their brain. When they feel that they are missing out and will not feel good in the future if they don't get involved now they may come back and become one of your best team members.

+ If they are an 'on again, off again' affiliate you will never know when they will come back or leave. You just have to be there if they do need you and smile when they are not.

+ Your success here at SFI depends on YOU finding people that will work, and YOU need to keep finding them all of the time, so if a team member drops out (and you should expect some of them to drop out) you will still be afloat and showing a good example for your team members who are working their SFI business and duplicating your actions.

Don't rely on others to create your success, take control and create it for yourself.

I abandoned SFI a long time ago, in it's early stages. The SFI of today is far different than it was then! What was then just a few products has turned into an e-commerce site with such a vast array of products that there is something within to peak anyone's interest along with the option to open their own store within it.

So my first question would be how long ago did they abandon SFI?
Once I knew that I would begin informing them of the changes that have taken place since they left along with SFI's plans for the future which you can read about at:

Some of the things you might chose to mention to them would be:
1. The new Eager Zebra games.
2. The new option to buy PSA's.
3 The plans to allow members to list their own products in traditional Pricebenders auctions.
4. The new internet income course when it arrives.
5. The new marketing center and e-cards!

SFI is constantly improving upon itself is seems and keeping those inactive members within our groups informed of them is not only part of our job but also a great way to renew their interest in SFI! So the next time one of those exciting changes occurs chose a few of those inactive members to send an e-card to and tell them why you are so excited!!

Anyone who has not come to their Home page for 30 days has pretty much abandoned SFI, in my opinion. I would not wait until SFI closes them out.

I would pursue them as gently and persistently as possible without driving them crazy! Send out individual team mail once a week. Halfway to the next time, send them an e-Card. Two contacts per week should be more than enough.

Pick perky, funny e-Cards. Let your messages on Cards and team mails be light chatter about what's going on at SFI. Tell about new developments - Time Machine, PickthePrice, T-Time, changes within Pricebenders - that will catch their attention.

Pretend you are talking to your best friend, telling about good things that happened to you this week. You finally won an auction; won the Daily Grand for 200VP; etc. Tell about what you learned the other day in a Forum reply that you hadn't known before; something funny someone told in Forum; new a2a friend who tells funny jokes....

Just chatter with them, not real long messages. Occasionally, throw in comments about getting them active by using the appropriate eCard, but don't hammer on it. Use the right card, and a light "we miss you" type of thing.

You want to reignite their curiosity without over-hounding them. Mostly use chatty, best friend conversations with light jabs now and then.

To convince an affiliate who has abandoned SFI to restart again, you must first and foremost find out why they abandoned SFI in the first place. If you are unable to find out why they left, you may be embarking on an exercise in futility if you try to convince them to come back. Anyone who does not know why they left off may not be easily receptive to the reasons why they should restart.

If however they know why they left and are very willing to reveal to you, that makes your job easier. That is exactly the juncture you begin to find a solution. Many affiliates leave SFI for many and varied reasons. Here are few reasons for leaving SFI, I can easily think of right now and how to convince someone to have a rethink.

1. Lack if time. Everything in SFI requires planning. With a good plan in place, you will schedule your time so well as to find at least one hour a day to devote to the business.

2. The person wanted to "get rich quick." Tell them that SFI is a marathon and not a sprint. The only place to get rich quick is a gambling casino if your luck holds out long enough. SFI is a business, a real business and has nothing to do with gambling. You get rewarded in SFI for your hard work and diligence in the long term.

3. Issues with sponsors. Let them know that people can succeed in SFI even with little or no help at all from sponsors. SFI has excellent 24/7 support base available to all affiliates. If your sponsors are lousy, you have the forum of all affiliates to learn from. You also have Ask SC as another resource base as well as many other resource bases in SFI. Your A2A friends can also come to your aid when you need information.

4. You are too shy to market your business. SFI has excellent marketing tools available free for all affiliates to use. Many of these tools do not require any physical or face-to-face contacts with anyone. These tools can easily be used by anyone even if they are shy.

5. You can not build a downline fast enough. You do need a viable downline ok but you can sell things in TripleClicks to earn income even if your downline in poor and not growing fast enough.

6. If the person left to try other schemes. Tell them that they can always return to SFI as no other business of its kind rivals SFI currently on the web.

7. If a person left SFI because of personal reasons/tragedy. With the right concern and empathy from SFI affiliates as a family, it is fairly easy to get such people back to the business. Many people are more likely to come back when they know that they're always welcome back just like as in a real family which SFI is.

It will surprise you to discover that you do not require too much persuasion to convince someone who has been involved in SFI to come back. That is the beauty of this business.

How you convince an affiliate who has abandoned SFI to restart would depend highly on why they abandoned it. Here are some of the issues I could see happening, and how I would proceed.

1) A person looking to "get rich quick" needs to see SFI as a long-term opportunity; yes, by all means show them how they can make money by listing items in TripleClicks because that can be an excellent source of income, but that it takes additional work to promote what's in the store as well.

2) A person who abandoned SFI in the past, when the business was smaller can be shown all the new opportunities, from PSAs-to-go to the new implementations of the Eager Zebra Games.

3) A person who left SFI behind in favor of another system can be brought back as they find ways to "piggyback" their other opportunities on SFI's platform. Always compound your opportunities, whenever possible, and you multiply your gains.

4) A person who left SFI because of personal concerns, like a death in the family and the stress related to it, takes less persuasion and more empathy. People are more likely to come back when they know that they're welcome back.

Regardless of what the affiliate's context is, it's important to accept that perspective as valid in order to build the rapport that you need to actually convince them to return. Once you have that rapport, you can re-frame that context to work *with* your argument rather than against it.

How would I convince an affiliate who has abandoned SFI to restart again?

I wouldn't try to convince but I would try to encourage them to take another look at what SFI has to offer. The convincing is done by the program itself if it is followed correctly.

Well I am in the position to be able to use personal experience as a help. I signed up several years ago and because of laziness or disbelief or possibly the lack of will power at that time I let my membership lapse. Also I cannot remember getting any encouragement from my upline.

Over the course of time I have seen many advertisements for SFI and because of my initial lack of getting to know the program, I just ignored those ads.

Boy how wrong was I? When I did finally take a look at the SFI business plan I realized what I had been missing. I was also now getting encouragement from my upline.

There are many things in SFI you can use to relate to others all the different parts of the program. You can of course use the same principles to encourage your inactive downline members to become active.

I think one of the main things to do, is to make sure you convince them that you are a good leader and you will be helping them to progress when they join SFI.

I was logged in to SFI maybe 5 years ago by searching on internet for jobs online. But then I had no idea what is going on or what should I do with this program, because no one there explained me anything. In the beginning of this year I saw that one relative of mine which lives in a different country from me was advertising her work and also the great prizes and branded products that she have won on Price Benders auctions. I asked and after log in in SFI it became clear to me that I was back there from where I have left. But now things are better:

NOW I have great sponsor which is helping with answers, support, ideas and examples so in the first months I knew what I am working and where will that take me.

NOW SFI had become better to understand and gives to the affiliates one month learning totally free.

NOW there are much more tools for advertising and social networks that we can use in our way to success.

NOW we can use TripleClicks games and auctions for free and off the price products that we are receiving like a rewards.

NOW we can use TripleClicks like our own shop where for the things that we bay we get discounts.And we can promote and sell their products for commission. And we can always sell our products by opening totally free ECA worldwide.

This and many more reasons are the things that we can consider for talking with someone who has abandoned SFI to start and have a try one more time, and this time with SUCCESS.

Most of Us start with a vision of Gaining a lot from SFI.. But as all business, SFI takes time to give you dividends. To say that perseverance and patience hold the key in all Business will not be incorrect statement.
Of all those who have abandoned SFI, they would have found it hard to continue with the pace. He would have abondoned SFI because of the following reasons.

1) Trying to earn, easy fast money thinking when they joined the business.
2) They would have thought it to be like any other business
3) They would have not been quite eloquent and thus would not have consulted their up line much.
4) Others would have showed them(Allured them) that their brand of business is better than SFI.
5) Time constraint.

The answer can be easily stated in the following ways.
1) SFI does not require a lot of time, however as is the case when starting any business, one must devote time, after all its our own business and we must devote some time. Moreover the learning quotient is so high that it can be made use of in daily life.
2) When we get a new joinee or one who has abondoned SFI , we should educate him to give time and learn what SFI really is, how its different from other business, its values, its past and what it has in store for him/her in future. Thats would make him look to the exciting aspect too.
3) Its easy to work with a team that's already available, but building up a team form the difficult part. So one needs to talk to the peer and address his concern. The peer may not be a PSA or CSA but one should think as team and help him.
4) Its quite obvious that after abandoning SFI they would have started something else, and thus to get them back one needs to show his own earnings, development along with other SFIans examples. For, all of us do get to where we can profit more, but we need to be shown that by somebody.
5) For time constraint issues, the solution would be helping him that you have already known , thus saving his time. Feeling wanted would definitely help in getting him back to SFI.
