Should I set up an email capture and autoresponder on my blog and, if so, what are some examples of what to put into the series?

Personally I don't like autoresponders. I have not had much luck with the use of them. Also, as the recipient of these types of emails, I find that I don't read them all the way through. I read a few lines and delete them.

There are a list of do's and don'ts on this page: https://www.sfimg.com/Support/Solution?id=191295
According to what is listed there you should not use an autoresponder as this method is considered impersonal and can actually dissuade someone from looking into

I cannot say it is compulsory to do this. It depends very much how much time you have to answer questions. Usually, the ones who read the info and are interested in this, will write you even by simple email. I would say this is similar with the FAQ section on some sites-a section I do not like at all. Every time when I have a question I must search to see if I find the answer and afterwards only to place an email. It is somehow tiresome. Also, if you have pre-established answers, they will always

YES! I highly recommend setting up on email capture page on our blog with an auto responder.

If they have not signed up for SFI and/or TripleClicks then I would email them every 3-days or so with short and simple statements or information. The intent is to peak their interest with SFI and/or TripleClicks enough to make them want to join. I would keep it personal to your story and include a picture of yourself (perhaps.) People can relate better to other people's stories.

I don't think it's a good idea to set an autoresponder simply because part of our job, both team leading and generating sales, is to build trust with our clients.

For PSA's, autoresponder may show that you don't care enough to respond personally in both cases mail and blog.

As far as TC sales are concerned, You always need to give a quick and personal response so customer wouldn't lose interest.

In our business, we need to check our e-mail at least every 2-3 hours

Technically, email capture and/or autoresponders sets you in a position to be identified as a spam-free correspondence thereby setting up the conditions for developing trust in a business relationship. In SFI, though we must emphasize that the experience will not be a get-rich quick scheme, that the SFI system follows a 16-year proven Rules of Success ... and that we cannot overemphasize that "...we do not really have to re-invent the wheel!" Anything short will only defeat the objective

All efforts at SFI should be aiming to find ACTIVE Affiliates.

I think that the Autoresponder method, as a sales funnel isn't the best way to find them. This is a way to 'convince' people to buy something, adding bits of new information with each message, but this will bring us probably new affiliates but probably not active.
