It is hard for us in the USA to imagine that it can be VERY difficult for others around the world to afford $22.00 or $29.00 a month to buy Standing Orders. We are RICH compared to many around the world. I mention this because the answer is for us who can probably spare money for giving boosts those who are in our downline means for purchasing SOs or giving them gift certificates, etc. Naturally, wisdom tells us to those who are truly seeking a better way of life and show their willingness to grow in SFI because of their existing activity (like the turtle, willing to plug along using every free means of advancement that SFI offers. Even more meaningful is
helping someone along who is not in your downline but who has a need. How can we know who is deserving and will use what we give to advance them more rapidly. Most of us who are affiliates are somewhat in the same boat--working SFI because we need the extra income. Joining SFI because we didn't have money to squander getting into other programs when SFO is FREE. The Bible says, "Cast your bread upon the waters and it will not return unto you void." For those who need interpretation, it means "Do something beneficial to others, and you will find it benefitting you in some way some day in the future." The world would be a better place if all of us were willing to do more for others. Selfishness destroys the joy of living.
