I tried paid advertising on Facebook a couple of months ago. I had a $100 credit to use and thought I would give it a try. I used ads from the marketing section here on SFI and got no results. Once that was done I began Posting my gateway links on Facebook as well as anywhere else I can think of, blogs, links shares, etc... and I have seen much better results from those postings than I got from the paid adverts. Don't forget also that you can advertise for free with flyers, cards, etc... There are plenty of free templates in the marketing section, or with a little ingenuity you can download a free blank template from various places on the web and design your own. I have done this and I send business cards in every piece of mail that I send out. I also post tabbed flyers on all of the local bulletin boards I can find. People read the flyer and if they are interested they can tear off a tab with my referral code on it. I have advertised both TC and SFI in this way.
