Most new Affiliates will perhaps be unfamiliar with the Instant Messaging feature of their account so I think that attempting to make immediate contact will in most instances prove futile. I think it is best to send them an email (a welcome e-mail, if that hasn't already been done)using this as an opportunity to explain this communication facility at SFI and the benefits of using it.
