This is an important question. Once an affiliate signs up through your gateway, you receive a mail informing you about it and in the mail is contained a link to the affiliates snapshot and SFI encourages you to go to the snapshot and initiate a live chat with the affiliate if you notice the affiliate is online through the yellow bubble that appears below their passport. Why so? The reason is simply. More often than not, the affiliate is unsure what to do and a friendly conservation giving him a simple guide will be very helpful. What then should you say when you initiate the chat?
1. Introduce yourself to the affiliate as his/her sponsor.
2. Assure them that they've made the right decision to join SFI and tell him/her that you exist to support and help them, and that they can always count on your assistance.
3. Share your contact details (emails, phone number) so the affiliate can easily contact you.
4. Point them to your Leadership page for additional information and guidance.
5. Be brief, very friendly and keep things simple. Point them to the SFI Basics and tell them the important of starting well by getting at least 500 VP on their 1st 24 hours on SFI.
