From my experience, spending money to buy web-traffic brings very small returns, meaning that you may get some sign-ups but you may also get them by creating web traffic for free. Especially that the odds that those sign-ups will be active are infinitesimal. My advice is to try free web traffic options first, and when you are more experienced, maybe try paid advertising on FB or some ad sites.
