If I were in an elevator going up to the top floor, and there are some passengers who are all staring at the door watching the floor number change, I'll wait till there's one or two left in the lift with me.
While waiting for my floor number to come up, I would rehearse what I would say to the last person/s standing, then give a smile.
And go, "Wouldn't it be nice if we have a business that goes to the top without a hitch? I know of just one on the internet- it goes up like this elevator, and goes back down again to pick up more people to take up to the top!"
I haven't tried this yet because it hasn't occurred to me until this question came up.
It's a good elevator pitch, isn't it?
