The first year is the time when affiliates usually need your help. I consider that Sponsoring is about training an affiliate for the first 6 months until they understand completely how the program works and learn how to make money here on SFI. The second and third year is a time where you continue to help them but they must not depend on you, they must be able to do the work on their own and also find other online resources to educate themselves, as a sponsor you are their to educate and provide the guidelines so that they can follow your example and work the business.
When a baby is learning to walk you hold their hand until their legs are strong enough to stand alone, so the point is you are not going to be holding your affiliates hand forever, once they learn how to walk you just provide them a path to walk on but they have to walk with their own two feet.
