I see in SFI a clear, motivating big picture: building a long term, sustainable, highly diversified, successful business, while helping others do the the same. All the sales activity, the sponsoring of new affiliates, the referring of ECAs and PRMs are essential components of that big picture vision.
In doing the above, we are laying the bricks to raise our first wall. Helping our PSAs and CSAs to duplicate our work is the next step. But, working on the big picture requires more. It calls for involving all the downline
The third step is the mentoring, and the support I am providing to my entire team, including the second-12th generation members, helping them see "that big picture", and teaching them duplication. The genealogy filters afford us with the tools to identify the most active affiliates in those generations and focus our supporting efforts to benefit them by sharing our experience with them.
That is the most important part to bringing the "big picture" alive: sharing the vision of how successful an SFI business can be and what to do to make it happen.
I view real, meaningful achievements for an SFI business, in building a team of several generations of Diamond Team Leaders (DTLs). I will not slowdown until I have several DTLs in my downline, going as deep as I can envision.
As the big picture exists already, the rest is a matter of how we are applying the guidelines, working to uphold the rules of success and the directives to grow our business. We have a clear path. We just need to follow it.
There are also practical aspects to take into consideration: a thorough knowledge of SFIMG, all the resources and tools available within, how to fully take advantage of as many income streams as possible.
Similarly, we need to develop the communication,, leadership, sales and technical skills that are the most beneficial for building a team and mentoring a downline.
Finally, it would not hurt to have a website, run and blogs and be social media savvy.
All of this is work in progress. It is the essence of what we should be focusing on all the time we are active SFI affiliates.
