Preparation for your retirement from SFI can commence anytime you want. There is no age requirement for retirement.
I personally enjoy SFI and will probably keep on doing it as long as I am able to. Having said that, if I win millions at the lottery tomorrow, I would most likely be gone tomorrow!! Lol!!!
Seriously, if you want to start preparing for you retirement from SFI and you want to continue receiving the benefits of your work here at SFI these are the main things you should start doing now:
1. Work very hard growing & developing your team of affiliates, growing your number of active and loyal PRMs, referring as many ECAs as possible and helping them make their business profitable. Become an ECA yourself if you can.
2. Become a Diamond Team Leader.
3. Because your SFI business can be bequeathed to a member of your family, I would suggest you identify who that person will eventually be. Introduce him/her to the business and get him to work alongside you learning the business. You want someone to manage your business during your retirement and then eventually take over as the sole owner.
These are the broad strategic steps to take into account.
