Many places have local newspapers where you can post ads either free or at cheap rates.
You will always have to pay for ads in local newspapers that are distributed free, but you can keep the costs down by putting up one or two line ads in the classified sections – eg “Earn money online for free. Go to (website)” To be effective, run these ads consistently over a period of time. Don’t just put them up one week and expect immediate results.
You can also do the same for national newspapers.
Sponsoring local school/club/charity etc activities in conjunction with newspaper ads work wonders.
Get your name and/or business known locally by a sustained ads campaign in the newspapers for a period of time, then sponsor perhaps a local sports team. You can supply them with perhaps SFI/TC caps or shirts? Give it some publicity and include your sponsorship in your newspaper ads from then on.
I would recommend sponsoring youngsters sports teams. Moms and Dads are often involved. They can also wear the SFI shirts!
Because you are working locally, make sure that you become an awesome sponsor especially to those locals who sign up as affiliates. If you don’t, your future sponsorship and newspaper campaigns regarding signing up new affiliates would be difficult.
