People in general and your team members in specific will love to follow your actions once you create trust in them. If this is to happen the responsibility remains with you as their leader that you should walk your talk.
It means what you speak you must demonstrate which should be visible to your team members.
SFI provides equal opportunities to every one to grow and succeed. Your Team members always will look at your performance which are reflected in your badges. They speak volumes of your achievements.
For example, if you keep winning in EZ Games regularly, your badges will show them. It gives you strength to ask your team members to participate in Games. Same way, if you have SO Badge, you will be in a better position to speak about significance of having an SO.
On the other hand, if you do not take part in EZ Games or do not have an SO, you will find yourself in a very weak situation to talk about them or discuss about them with your Team Members. People love to follow a person who says something and lives by what he says and keep his actions transparent so that any one in his team can follow and succeed.
Conclusion:
In short, say what you want and do what you say and keep your actions visible for your Team Members so that they will know by following certain path or steps you have succeeded. That will give them the much needed impetus to work their own way and grow. Your actions and only actions count for your team members. Be a good performer and keep achieving things consistently and share them with your members so that they will be inspired to do better!!
