The frequency of contact depends on the availability of the CSA as well as the established chain of communication that is existing on ground. It may vary from once a week to more than seven times or even on a daily basis.
As to ways of communicating with the CSA, it is advisable to make use of all the available media or means of communication;
If the CSA is from your country call him or her, this will make them feel secure that their co-sponsor is a real person and not just a picture.
