In my opinion the most important activity for a Team Leader is to support his team. By this I mean to be pro-active. Contact them on weekly schedule through the SFI mail. I also use a revolving list to contact each of them on an individual and regular basis. This does take time because each letter is different due to their actions. Also it is necessary to respond to any and all questions in a timely manner.
My CSAs, I do a bit differently. I group them into like affiliates and write a letter that will address that entire group. I copy and paste, but each get an email although not as often. This encourages communication and that, I believe, is the very core of this business.
