SFI's job is to provide the infrastructure for building a business. Your sponsor’s role is to provide a professional, one-on-one relationship with you.
SFI gives you a sponsor to help you get around SFI and to understand how to build it step by step, and for this Sponsors are encouraged to be Awesome Sponsor, not just to be a mentor but a friend!
It is for this reason that a sponsor’s role should not be devalued or taken for granted. It’s true some don’t live up to these expectations, are inactive, or may seem uncaring for reasons known only to them.
If you’re unlucky to have the latter, your success in SFI will depend on you, your resourcefulness in finding out things for yourself, and for building your team and grow your business, for after all it’s your own business.

In addition, there are many resources and materials provided free to help you with promoting and sponsoring.
If, on the other hand you’re fortunate in having a caring, hardworking, and dependable sponsor, who is there for you, especially when the going gets tough and you feel lost and unable to understand the complexity of SFI and TC, your reliance on your sponsor is all the more important as you need support, motivation and guidance.
You will find that helping you build your team, your business and move up to a level you will be comfortable running on your own is your Sponsor's goal, too, because both of you will benefit. Your sponsor has a vested interest in you because your success is your sponsor's success.
