The best method is the SFI method.
SFI has this amazing button that reads START. Clicking that button gives an affiliate a brief over view of what they will learn, where they will learn it, and how long it will take. It leads you to the SFI Basics button and then the Launchpad button.
If they follow the instructions they will learn about the E-365 contest and how to stay above the green line. They will learn about the Fast Track program and how it explodes their earnings potential. They learn both of those in plenty of time to accomplish the take and generate the sales VP required before losing either opportunity.
One mistake I see from a lot of people when responding to the, "Where do I get started?" question is they tell them to go to the VP Ledger or ToDo List, give a list of 12 or more links, say go here, go there, do these daily, and never once mention the Start Button, or either of the other two.
These buttons are needed in order so the new PSA knows what they are doing, where they are supposed to go, and what they are supposed to learn, and how fast/slow they need to go to get the most out of SFI's pre-planned training system. Sending them any place else is just going to confuse them. Telling them to clear their red tabs doesn't tell them what the tabs are for and the information they are supposed to gain about their business, or even what a VP is and how eventually these will become a major boost to their income.
I say eventually because the 500VP earned from doing the daily, weekly, and monthly task only equals around 25 to 28 cents in earnings and it takes hundreds of people doing those actions to become any kind of income. If they follow the training program they will see in the SFI Basics that learning to generate TripleClicks Sales comes first, before building a downline because another reason people quit is they are getting referrals but nobody is making any serious money.
If they click Start they will be sent on a path with a defined list of objectives to achieve, each in their own time, during the first 30 days of membership and should come out of it at least an EA member with a Fast Track Badge who is a Finalist in the E365, and understands the value of getting started with a standing order, and doing their red tabs daily.
