1. Should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they don't yet have a team?" Well this is an interesting & tricky question. Both sides of the coin are true as far as this question goes. Off course each opinion has its own “pros & cons”.
2. As far as my experience goes, I became a BTL at the end of second month after joining SFI. I had opted for the SO of 125 Tcredits @ $36.25 during that month. During the third & fourth months, I had a couple of active PSAs( Ea-2 & BTL) & a CSA (EA-2). But the next succeeding month – i.e. the fifth month- all of those active PSAs/CSAs went to ‘sleep’. The next four months tried to ‘wake’ them up with all the sources /tool available in SFI to communicate with them; but it was of no use. I had continued this SO for eight months .Suddenly, I realized that I was investing a large sum regularly for practically no returns- low monthly income in cents not even dollars-.I realised that it was not a good idea as it costed money to maintain my BTL. I had a meager income of couple of dollars in two months since there was no benefit as my team was inactive or non-existent. Hence these circumstances forced me to cancel my SO & to revert back to EA-2.
3. Presently, I am waiting patiently to have enough regular EA2s in my team so that I will be benefited from matching VPs of my active PSAs/CSAs. Once I get two to three active EA-2, I will restart my SO! Jumping in and upgrading to a team leader before you have an active team of affiliates –minimum EA-2 rank is real, utter foolishness. Well, my opinion is that its meaningless to invest money & spend your time becoming a TL, until you have an active, well performing team!
4. Well, the other side of the coin is that becoming a TL builds your team faster for you because:
a. You have a share in the 2nd Home CSAs each month. .
b. From your investment of a SO of 125 T-credits for becoming a TL, you can buy 1-2 units of S Builder to help you in getting a team.
c. From your T-Credits bought through your SO, you can get PSAs from the Price Benders Auction or the Bid and Build Program.
d. You can also build your team through games by collecting MRP that can be used to purchase S- builder or PSAs to Go.
5. The only pre-condition is that you should be able to afford spending on a SO for $36.25
6. This option requires lot of investment. So if you are ready to invest, make sure you have a realistic plan that will sustain it for you.
7. As entrepreneurs, one should make use & recycle the profit made to run the business. Creation of a profit oriented plan will aid us in building a successful SFI business. In course of time we will realize that we are not at a loss if we become a TL without having a team. Finally, we will end up having one.
8.To summarize, the option of becoming a team leader with or without an active performing team should be left to the individual’s finances & his strategic plans!
